eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Gibson and Rose probable for tonight. Hopefully at least one of them can miss.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I'd also like to get Amare's thoughts on whether the Atlantic Division is still "wide open".
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Gibson and Rose probable for tonight. Hopefully at least one of them can miss. I'd like to see the bulls healthy. I want to have a quality win, we haven't had one in at least 3 weeks. We are doing a great job beating who we should but I'd like to see a win vs a good playoff team
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Josh Smith released by Detroit. He has his faults but wow could he ever be a nice pickup at a cheap cost.

Not for the Raptors he wouldn't. He just wouldn't be a good fit here. I think Houston would be a good place for him.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Josh Smith released by Detroit. He has his faults but wow could he ever be a nice pickup at a cheap cost. What? He sucks, why would you want him here to take away minutes from PP/JJ/Amir?

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Houston? The most analytical team in the league is going to want an inefficient long-2 chucker who sucks? He still plays good defense and is a good rebounder. They will tell him to turn the long 2s into 3 point attempts and hes good friends with Howard so that should keep him in check. Apparently they tried to trade for him but couldn't get the contracts to match so looks like they really want him. You can't look too much into a player playing in an awful situation.

Career 27% 3 pt shooter.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Career 27% 3 pt shooter. Better than the 34% he shoots from 16 feet-3 point line. He can still be a positive player for Houston.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Smith was a fringe-allstar a few years back... The talent is definitely still there... He was just in a toxic environment playing with a completely useless point guard.

jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Yea Smith just isn't just a black hole on offence, he's the black hole that doesn't give a f***, swallows everything up and just keeps chucking. Even when he was on some solid playoff Hawks team he still chucked away so I doubt him changing teams will really change much
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Smith could have been a rich man's James Johnson, but like it's been said his shot selection is awful and he has a terrible attitude.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Oh, turns out Drake was responsible for the black and gold alt logo: http://m.theglobeandmail.com/sports/basketball/kelly-drake-raptors-at-odds-over-new-logo/article22176489/?service=mobile&cmpid=rss1&click=sf_globe f*** you Drake.

According to Drake, that isn't correct. https://twitter.com/Drake/status/546430385132146689
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Watch Kobe's 8/30 9 TO game. Seriously just watch it... I seriously dislike almost everything about Kobe's game. He obviously has tremendous skill but I hate how he plays

SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Yes, completely obvious...Since there is so much proof suggesting it's his logo
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Yes, completely obvious...Since there is so much proof suggesting it's his logo On Drake Night he was talking about how excited he was for the rebrand and that they spent time making sure it looked good etc... Anyways I really don't give a s*** if Drake made the logo or not I just hope JV doesn't get called Big Science anymore.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Raps need to show that the Bulls can't just push them around. need a big win tonight to send a message. Bulls man handled the raps last time around.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Hope I'm wrong but I expect the same tonight. A long playoff run aint gonna happen if they cant body up and push back. Hope the raps get better whistles tonight, but they cant count on that or use it as an excuse.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I laugh at guys that bite on JV's pump fake. Like he never shoots it on the first pump..
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 JV looks awesome. Arguably our second best player already.
