Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I'm sure I'll recover. lol...I'm sure you will.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Raps for sure look like a team that played last night.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Wow this offence is firing on all cylinders. Team does a great job of putting guys on the court at their hot spots. Its not like there is tremendous ball movement or anything but guys just find open shots from where they are comfortable.
43211234 Verified Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 The 76ers are 45 seconds away from their first victory of the season, up by 6 against the Timberwolves.

I love how the offense doesn't force the ball into any one guy, whoever is open and playing well gets the looks.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Sidenote, Exum has played really solid D on Kyle
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Pretty weird game. On the second night of a back to back, they seem to be getting better as the game goes on
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 This Joe Ingles character just looks like a really bad basketball player. Doesn't really seem to do anything but float around the court on both ends and occasionally make a shot.
labadee Verified Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Raps' offence slicing thru defence like a hot knife on butter
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Kyle Lowry playing ridiculous. That last shot left me speechless.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 https://twitter.com/edkupfer/status/540314911507628032 According to this, we have had the 16th most difficult schedule thus far and the easiest from here on out. 60 wins a possibility? Need 45-18 from here
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Well it's probably a race to 55 wins between the Raps and Wiz for the number 1 seed, only need 40-23 to get there.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I felt this was a 55 win team before the season started, but 60 seems like a real possibility now.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Trade for Hickson or another backup C who can rebound please. They're kidding themselves if they think Amir can hold up into the playoffs.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Charlotte are a huge bust. I wonder if they would consider trading Big Al? We have some nice pieces that we could send back in return. He would make us instantly on the same level as Chicago. 2016 NYK/DEN 1st rounder Nogeuira A lot of expiring contracts on the books I think it could work.

That pick could be pretty f***in high if the Knick keep doing what they are going

A first round pick won't get Jefferson, I'd pass on him anyway.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 A first round pick won't get Jefferson, I'd pass on him anyway. A first and some expiring deals would likely get it close. Why would you pass on him? He's a legit 20/10 guy who has always been extremely efficient.

Id pass on him because the cost would be Val+ a 1st. Better off targeting a more mobile defender
TRM Verified Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I don't see MJ folding either. He's way more likely to double down and try to buy his way out of this mess. (The gambling analogy and MJ's history wasn't intentional, either. Just a happy coincidence.)

Lou was a bonafide 6th man candidate having a down year/injury issues and we got him & Bebe for Salmons' 1M guaranteed contract. Financial flexibility is always coveted. Don't sell Masai short. If he really wanted Al I think he could get him without touching the core. Anyways, what a disaster Charlotte has been. Thought they'd be a 45-48 win team for sure.

SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I'm not sure how I feel about getting Big Al. Seems like he would be a ball movement killer. Spacing would suck with him and Val together/defending quicker bigs would be impossible to guard

Amir/Patterson > Big Al on this team. Yeah maybe you're right. I just don't see us getting past a big team in the playoffs though. We might be able to shoot the lights out for a game or two but eventually they'll just out-grind us.

Ya, I read that. He needs to stop doing it every time and Casey needs to stop letting him. Clearly there is no play being called, just give the ball to lou and let him iso
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 On a side note: I know GV is playing quite well right now. However, Casey has to start JJ with Ross vs Cavs, right?
