dineke Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Can someone catch me up on why we want to lose? If they lose and the bulls win, they drop to 4th and avoid the miami in the second round.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Best we can hope for is that the Wizards lose their game tonight because it looks like Brooklyn is tanking.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 If we lose, Wizards win, Nets lose, and Bulls win we get: Wizards Round 1 Indiana Round 2 As of RIGHT NOW we get: Brooklyn Round 1 MIami Round 2 at least we dont have to play Charlotte. They kicked our ass all 3 games this year. Chicago is a horrible match up as well. they are too physical for the Raps. best to play good basketball and just kick ass whoever you meant. winning is a way of life.

I like their chances against the nets, would generate more hype than playing the wiz anyways. It's miami I'm scared of but oh well.

Beating the Nets would be much more satsifying anyway. That team is just filled with unlikable f***ers. Edit: Just realized how blatant the nets are tanking, even starting Collins over Plumlee. I hope Ross slammes one down over Garnett the first possesson and stares him down
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 DeRozan holding his hand. Probably fractured 3 fingers. #itwasnicewhileitlasted

Maybe, but I like every single one of our starters over theirs, with the exception of the Pierce-Ross match up. If I were betting, Id say Raptors in 5 or 7 over the Nets.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Nets starting 2 guard tonight. Looks like they went out and grabbed a random Mexican to help them lose a game
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Bulls lose. Raps lock up 3 seed. It's going to be Brooklyn/Miami.

If I were betting, Id say Raptors in 5 or 7 over the Nets. Especially with homecourt. Nets are far better at home than on the road

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Alright might as well try to win #49.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 It's funny how the Knicks keep missing wide open layups and dunks.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Go for three please. Nobody wants to see overtime.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 This is why I worry sometimes in the 4th. Sure this game doesn't really count, but it wasn't uncommon for Casey to throw out Salmons and Novak and Hayes for a large portion of the 4th, including the last minute.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Oh well, great season by the Raps. Playoffs here we come!!!
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I'm really glad we picked up De Colo. Bring on the Nets. f*** the old guys.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I'm really glad we picked up De Colo. Bring on the Nets. f*** the old guys. FA after this year but would be a good insurance signing in case they don't re-sign Vasquez. Considering we only gave up Austin Daye to get him.... good deal.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I hope Terrence Ross drops Alan Anderson at some point and Demar dunks on Paul Pierce. Is Lopez back yet?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Any possibility of Al Jefferson completely s***ing on the Heat and LeBron choking the whole series?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 No, Lopez is out for the year.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 No, Lopez is out for the year. Huge advantage for us, even though he's not a great rebounder or defender it gives Jonas a better chance to dominate. We BETTER feed him in the post when he's hot.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Thank jeebus. Feed Jonas and this series could swing in our favor. Maybe they switch Garnett onto him and have Blatche on Amir and Amir outworks Blatche and puts up like 80 boards.
over500 Verified Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Probably the last game in NBA for Dwight Buycks. Man, he was awful.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I don't know why that has to be a thing.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Garnett is done. Guy didn't even score 20 points in any game this year. They'd be insane to play him extended minutes. They've barely been playing Pierce 25 MPG for the last month. Saving him for the playoffs. Pierce might have one good series left in him but Garnett is 100% done.
Caper Verified Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Probably the last game in NBA for Dwight Buycks. Man, he was awful. I thought he signed a 2 year deal..... He probably is not an NBA player..... But I don't think I saw him play until tonight.... maybe 2 or 3 minutes of garbage time. He did run his ass off out there.
