eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Ross +10, Salmons -7 tonight Salmons likely gets comparable minutes in the 2nd half. Casey is almost like an NBA version of Cito Gaston. Play the kids please.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Like why is Terrance Ross not playing 35 minutes a night? You cannot explain it. Kid has taken a star turn but he still struggles to get extended minutes. In the time he played he did everything right, we know he shoots a good 3, good dunker, but I really loved his work on defense, he was great at giving guys no room to move, lockdown defender.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Not only does he get limited minutes, but he doesn't get enough touches. He clearly has a good enough handle to run PnR and makes great passes when he gets the opportunity. I think he could really be a good slasher/driver with how explosive he is
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 If Bynum (Andrew) really is healthy and his attitude is in check, Pacers with a stupid good option off the bench, could make a big difference.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 2/8 FT shooting for Detroit, embarrassing.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 NBA 2k14 steal from Ross there lol, off the back!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 The starters start the 3rd quarter and start to bust the game open. Who saw that coming,
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Val nailed to the bench AGAIN. Another <20 MPG for JV again tonight? Inexplicable. There was a lot of talk about JV being exhausted earlier (probably from also playing summer ball). I think they're making sure they get him rested before the playoffs, and will probably ramp up his minutes the last few games.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 And OUT goes JV again. Just LOL. See you next game JV.

I think they're making sure they get him rested before the playoffs, and will probably ramp up his minutes the last few games. We're not that far removed from a 4 day break. He doesn't look visibly tired. I can understand limiting him to 28-30 MPG..... but not 18-20 MPG.....
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Casey falls in love with his veterans in the 4th, so most games Val is on pace to play 25-28 minutes but he gets glued to the bench in 4th. What I don't get is, if he's never going to play the 4th, who gives a s*** about his fouls? That's the reason he's out so early today, has 4 fouls...but if he's only playing another 6 minutes, what does it matter
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Like right now we have 1 offensive player on the floor (Lowry). The other 4 guys have zero offensive ability. Vasquez needs other great scorers on the floor to give him wide open shots. Terrible rotations. Just terrible.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Shocking - Ross, Val and Amir come out for GV, Hayes and Hansbrough and the offense dies
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Shocking - Ross, Val and Amir come out for GV, Hayes and Hansbrough and the offense dies WTF is wrong with rotating these guys in 1 or 2 at a time!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 LOL there goes the cushion. 100% on Casey if we lose tonight.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 So far: Ross +18 Amir +24 JV +12 DD +20 Hansborough -15 Salmons -12 Hayes -12 Vasquez -10
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 What does Salmons do that Ross doesn't do 5X better? Ross plays 26 MPG and Salmons plays 23...the f***
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 5 point lead. 17 point lead erased because of that f***ing lineup. This is beyond frustrating.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 BS call, Raptors forcing tough shots, zero offense as mentioned though. Omg pls take out Hayes and Salmons.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Lol, Val comes in...we start a run
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Ok There are 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Can you please put Ross, Lowry, and Amir in the game?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Amir only has 2 fouls, why the hell is he still out?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Lol, Val comes in...we start a run As I type this he grabs his 13th rebound. Unreal.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Lol, Val comes in...we start a run Val doing great work on the glass. Thank you Smith for taking boneheaded shots over and over.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Val doing great work on the glass. Thank you Smith for taking boneheaded shots over and over. Love when Smith hits a deep 2 and a 3 early on, thinks he's Steph Curry for the remainder of the game.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 BREAKING: Ross back in the game befoer the 2:30 mark
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 CHUCK HAYES is going to finish the game instead of JV. WHAT AM I WATCHING
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Wow, Isiah Thomas the winner for most double-doubles in a Pistons season, who woulda thought. Drummond...just... Wow! NBA player can't miss that!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 f*** Amir died! Season over! Nice while it lasted, good season guys.
