theblujay Verified Member Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 The Toronto Raptors have announced that forward Patrick Patterson will be sidelined indefinitely with a right ulnar collateral sprain. Out at least 7-10 days. Huge loss
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Out at least 7-10 days. Huge loss Raptors have been pretty healthy all year, doesn't surprise me to start losing a few.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Johnson playing g like crap right now. Missed two easy lay ups, launching an awful 3 ball and nowhere to be found on the glass. Luckily the prest of the team is picking it up. JV keeps tapping rebounds out to the wolves, just bring it down kid!

Caper Verified Member Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Where can I find a link to watch the game?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Pekovic out now, let's see if Casey calls some plays inside to JV with no real bigs in. Of course not, just takes him out of the game.... Love is abusing Amir on defense but Johnson starting to wake up now

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Raps making it too easy, terrible D and too many turnovers.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 And Casey letting them get it all back by playing the backups way too long
Caper Verified Member Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 And Casey letting them get it all back by playing the backups way too long I think that's why the Raps can come back or not fall apart at the end of a game.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 f*** Casey.... Leave JV in the f***ing game when Pekovic goes out....
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Raps have gone to their usual 19 foot jumper game ... So shocking to see them miss a few in a row when you don't take shots from anywhere near the paint
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Hate seeing Chuck Hayes on the floor... I know Patterson is hurt but it makes it way to easy for the opponents on defense when you know Hayes isn't even a factor on offense

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Lowry's game awareness is incredible. They really need to resign him.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 What the f*** refs... Another absolutely awful foul call, when a guy is dribbling and changes direction and gets hit from behind, the foul can't be called on the guy with the ball
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I've started watching a lot more basketball this year, and ive never seen these calls in other games go against the dribbler, Raps have had like 3 or 4 egregiously horribad calls against them this year on stuff like that. Lowry getting run over from behind comes to mind
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 What the f*** refs... Another absolutely awful foul call, when a guy is dribbling and changes direction and gets hit from behind, the foul can't be called on the guy with the ball Was this on Lowry again?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 No this time it was on Vasquez
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I love how they talk about DeRozan and how he works so hard between games watching video, trying to find ways to get better because he wants to be a better player. For him it's so simple, just stop taking 10-15 19 foot jumpers every game and take it to the rack more often. Don't lose that mid range jumper, but drive it with authority more often to keep the d honest
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Refs have money on the wolves tonight
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Lowry is so money tonight, love his determination and competitiveness
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 It's really too bad Ross had foul trouble tonight, 5-7 15 pts in 19 minutes
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 The Raps are a good f***ing basketball team ladies and gentlemen. Another outstanding team effort tonight. Lowry with the triple double!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Raps had FIVE GUYS score 15 points tonight. #treadmill #foolsgold
