Tigers:

• Miguel Cabrera's on a 15 game hit steak that saw him bat .458 with 7 homers, 5 of them hit in the past 6 days
  
• The Tigers lead the majors in team batting with .280
  
• The last time these two teams met, the Tigers took the series 2-1 outscoring the Jays 24-12 at Comerica Park
  

 

Jays:

• Jose Bautista's in luck. Not only is he off a hot two games that saw him belt out homers# 200, 201 and 202 in his career as part of his 5 hits in 9 ABs, but he has the highest average against any team in his career with a .375 mark against the Tigers with 5 homers in 26 games
  
• Rajai Davis has done well in his 3 games filling in for DL'd Melky Cabrera. He's 5/11 with a double, two walks and 5 stolen bases (IN THREE GAMES!) along with some nice plays in left field.
  
• RA Dickey's trying to build off a strong start in Tampa yielding a victory on a complete game shutout. The Jays are 5-5 in the last 10 games, all of witch came against AL East teams.
