yes Cabrera to the dL.. Reyes comes up.. Kawasaki to second base and oliver traded.. keep Gose down until he gets his bat going.

Were not talking about some flash in the pan here, were talking about a guy who has been one of the best LHR in baseball for several years now. It's not like he is s***ing the bed, he has been decent, but yeah lets get rid of him. Perez is a guarantee to be great after more than a decade in the minors.

If melky needed DL they would not have waited for reyes to come back IMO.

Well, why not? It actually makes sense if they wanted a switch hitter at the top of the lineup. Reyes comes back so they allow Melky a break from his agony. DL'ing him while Reyes was away and Lawrie was out would mean you were missing three regulars from the lineup. With Reyes back they could DL Melky for 15 days and have it stay at 2 regulars missing. Then Melky and Lawrie return at the same time-ish, along with some All-Star break rest for everyone, and you come back with a rejuvenated lineup.

 

We will see tonight.

yea I know , it just hurts seeing him run

 

I think they will either trade off a reliever or send one of them down

It doesn't matter if we see or we don't see, it doesn't change that it's the right move to DL Melky.

 

?? I didn't say anything about that the right move would be, I said I don't think the jays will do it, reading comprehension issues? I would rather they send melky down, but I don;t think they will.

yea he's been good for us this year, I bet we could get a decent prospect coming back this way for him
