Darvish is only half Asian. Doesn't count.

Iran is part of Asia dumn-dumn. Nice try being pedantic, though.

Can't believe people actually watch and support it.

Why not? It's not the UFC where people legitimately beat the f*** out of each other for money. They're not gladiators, they're entertainers. It's no different than stuntmen getting injured during movie shoots, or pitchers taking line drives off the head in a baseball game, or a football player getting a concussion in a tackle. You say that you can't believe people support it as if the people watching it are encouraging the backstage life of drug-use (which, by the way, hasn't existed for for nearly a decade now). Does that mean that you are in disbelief over the rock music industry or the modeling industry too, given how prevalent things like that are in those businesses as well?

1. I don't know, because it's hilarious how seriously you take roided up guys in their undies pretending to slap each other and talk in unrealistically menacing voices?

Your response to me is "it's hilarious how seriously you take roided up guys in their undies" because I expressed remorse of a dead man? What the f*** is wrong with you? You might want to consider therapy to figure it out. The guy was a decent man and an excellent entertainer who just left behind two teenage daughters and a wife that were just celebrating his induction, but because he took steroids 25 years ago and because of his profession, he deserves to have his death ridiculed by some piece of s*** chump troll on the internet?

2. People die all the time and I didn't really make a specific comment about him. Also, who cares?

"Who cares" - illustrated my point perfectly. Tens of thousands of people care. His family and his friends and his fans care. Making a specific comment about him is exactly what you did, and I'd like to see you say "people die all the time" the next time someone in your family dies.

4. I'm 6'1"[/Quote]

It doesn't matter if you're 4 feet tall or if you're 6'1 if at the end of the day, you're still a pitiful classless douchebag that sounds like a sociopath.

That's the point. Plus, Anchorman.

And yeah, Warrior was one of my heroes when I was a kid. He's probably one of the best known-wrestlers in the world when it comes to guys that had huge moments in Toronto (along with Hogan, and Rock).

Do these guys not feel silly wearing undies and masks and referring to themselves in third person in front of lots of people?

Do you ask the same question of every controversial or uncomfortable role a movie star ever plays? Why do you keep going back to what they wear, are you that seriously homophobic? Really the only thing that can make someone frown upon Wrestling ring gear while being fine with Boxing/MMA ring gear is homophobia.

Wrestling entertainment is an evolution of things like the circus, where everything is exaggerated and caricatured. People don't complain about the kind of things that are worn by circus acts, but there's a problem with wrestling? These guys are playing over-the-top characters that aren't considered normal or everyday people. Warrior was literally booked as being from "parts unknown".

If you simply don't like something, it's perfectly understandable and fair, that is your own choice. But are you that insecure that you have to try and s*** on other people for being fans of it? You can't leave it alone or just not comment on it?

It doesn't surprise me that a sports board would have people like you or Moogy, guys that have this homophobic insecurity in being able to accept things like other men wearing "undies" on TV because it's not "manly" enough, but the irony at the end of it is just hilarious, seeing as how most of these guys are bigger men than people like that will ever be. They make millions of dollars, are professionally trained fighters, have gorgeous girlfriends and are followed by a fanbase that largely consists of young adult men and women.

Oh but they wear undies!?! Oh ewwww gay!! Ew cooties!

Yeah, me, the guy who came up with the nickname "Handsome Jake", regularly and openly fawn over Dan Haren and enjoy discussion on handsome ballplayers, is homophobic.

It couldn't be that an adult man running around in a speedo pretending to fight with another man running around in a speedo is embarrassingly lame.

"If we could be shown what general conditions they lived in before the hurricane, we would see that had little respect for what they did have. We would see just how unorganized, unclean and dysfunctionally they lived. They never gave a care for order, cleanliness or function before, but now that they can get someone's attention who will possibly take over the responsibility of their life for them, they go on these tirades about how their life has been ruined. Their lives were already in ruin — self ruin. Ruined by the bad choices they made over and over.

[...]

And they are fat. Have you ever seen so many fat people? Poverty? Poverty of what? Having enough to buy so much food to eat that you become obese — this is poverty? Only one TV? This is poverty? A house with a roof over your head? This is Poverty? Indoor plumbing? Electric appliances? Refrigeration? Phones? Cell phones? Computers? Designer clothes made by rap stars? $200 Nikes? Free medicine and medical care if you really need it? Is having all this poverty? What the hell, then, do we call the scenes they shoot out of Africa that they use to lay guilt trips down on all of us?"

- The Ultimate Warrior, on Katrina.

He had no sympathy for the deaths of and losses of thousands of people. He was a f***ing weirdo and an *******, and the only reason you are crying your little eyes out over his death is because of his adventures in undies.

Emphasis on young. I bet a large portion of the WWE fanbase believes in Santa.

lol Come on guys go watch some old school Ric Flair vids and tell me he wasn't the biggest alpha you've ever seen.

Wrestling now is pretty stupid (haven't watched since I was like 10 years old) but the old school stuff was hilariously entertaining.

His words on Katrina were from nearly a decade ago, during a time where he was in a bad place in his life, around the same time Vince McMahon had made a DVD ridiculing his whole career. He said a lot of really stupid things that I don't agree with, but everyone that knows him has mentioned how he had turned himself around and had become a much better person lately, which is exactly why the same people that had made a joke of him 10 years ago accepted him back with open arms and inducted him into their hall of fame. But yeah, everybody should forever be crucified for the mistakes they make in their lives, shouldn't they? The fact that you can say he "was a f***ing weirdo and an *******" about a guy you know absolutely nothing about, that too about a guy that just died, proves my point in this thread: you're a complete ******* yourself, so you're the last person that should be pointing that finger.

The fact that people like you and Moogy can flame someone for saying "Rest in Peace" shows the kind of f***ed up sociopaths litter the internet and this forum, and I feel sorry for you and the people in your life. I can tear up about a guy dying, and it doesn't have to be about what I saw on TV, it can be about the fact that he had finally reconciled the mistakes he made in his life, and had finally gotten back to the place he loved before he had it taken away, it can be about the fact that I just saw his wife and two teenaged daughters elated at his induction ceremony, it can be just about losing someone you cheered for throughout your childhood, but whatever the reason is, just the mere idea that you can judge someone for being upset about a death is again, just flat out f***ed up, and again, you might want to consider therapy. I can't imagine the kind of s*** that has happened to you to make you become someone that ridicules a dead man, and ridicules people mourning for a dead man, but whatever it is, I am sincerely sorry for you.

Anyways, seeing as you're a hopeless, cynical tool, I'm done wasting my time responding to you, so go ahead and do what any typical generic internet troll loves to do; go ahead and get your last word in. I won't respond to it, so you can get away with whatever you want to say. The floor is yours.

Ric Flair was great. I agree the new generation of Wrestling became a bit stupid for a few years, but it's gotten a lot better lately and there's a lot of really good young talent on the roster. Cesaro's ridiculous strength, The Shield's "badass" gimmick and Bray Wyatt's twisted false-prophet promos are all really good. Hell, even legends like Flair, Hogan and Warrior (RIP) are making their returns.

What a massive, giant vagina this guy is. Contradicting himself constantly must be part of his shtick.

Oh poor him another guy wearing speedos made some jokes about him?? Why didn't you say that, it totally makes sense then when he was making millions to entertain children to call out people that couldn't control nature? Stupid poor people!

Hey man, he reconciled his problems and became a better man. I know this because he was a personal friend of mine.

I know that when I'm feeling down, I like to lend my approval to genocide in Africa.

I was a big fan when i was young back in the days of Razor Ramon and 1-2-3 Kid the Smoking Gunns Yokozuna all the classics lol

Razor Ramon also just got his life back together. He developed a lot of bad habits and most people were just waiting around to hear the news of his death. DDP helped him and Jake Roberts really get themselves together and improve their healths. Both guys (Roberts and Razor) just got inducted in the same class as Warrior, this year's class was a really nice story, seeing all the guys that turned their lives around and made it back to the big stage. Really nice to see.
