Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Author Posted June 16, 2013 Melky has not looked good lately, on a big cold streak
kgm1 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 s*** I benched JPA for the last while and put Mesoraco in
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Huh? No guys if the Jays pick up the option it's 7 million.......if they buy him out he's released at 2 million. Your right, but the $2M is a sunk cost, it will be paid out regardless. If the Jays let him go it costs them $2M, if they keep him it costs them $7M, thus the only variable is $5M. $2M is getting paid no matter what. If the Jays trade him then they save $7M (assuming his option will be picked up which looks like a no brainer).
kgm1 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 As useless as JPA is, its nice to have some big power way down in the lineup. Yea but if you were a pitcher would you throw JPA a strike . I wouldn't
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Jesus, Chris Davis is beasting again today for the Orioles. I saw the first HR, what now?
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 can someone please tell me why we're fielding our worst infield defense with chien ming wang? i mean at least put kawasaki at short.......
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Yea but if you were a pitcher would you throw JPA a strike . I wouldn't But that's not the point, he is still hitting for big power, just can't do anything else. Obviously its weird that more pitchers just don't give him anything to hit, he can't walk and swings wildly to avoid walks at any cost, seems like a no brainer to me.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 RBI double. Four doubles off Lester today for Baltimore, just an amazingly productive offense. they are scary good
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Rangers hitters "f*** asian guy, throw the damn ball"
Figgy1R22R Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 can someone please tell me why we're fielding our worst infield defense with chien ming wang? i mean at least put kawasaki at short....... Because we have #Top10Catcher and that's all we need
kgm1 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 can someone please tell me why we're fielding our worst infield defense with chien ming wang? i mean at least put kawasaki at short....... LOL I wondered on that too
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Because we have #Top10Catcher and that's all we need When he hits those dingers he is a top 10 catcher. Unfortunately he has only been a top 10 catcher for 14 AB's this year.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 that Davis HR was a pop fly for most hitters...
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 HAte those cheap hits. That davis HR looked like a pop up to short right lol.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 RBI Double. I saw Davis here at DWL 2 years ago..............a f***ing beast
IronLadle Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 wang is a sinker ball pitcher and we have our worst infielders playing
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Come on Wang, lets get out of this.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 s***** defense again . now how many more pitches does Wang throw . That has been a part ( maybe not much but a part) of our rotation woes.
Cello Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Holland 38 pitches, 27 strikes Wang 28 pitches, 17 strikes
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Jays Wang rock solid through 2... Hopefully he can keep it up
