Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Dont like thole calling the game at all......................
sdyment Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 How many ABs do you need to qualify right now? He has 151 AB That's why I asked on here... I seem to remember it being something like 3 AB's / team game or something like that... not sure really EDIT Just took my own advice and took it to google... 502 plate appearances (or 3.1 per game played by that player's team)...
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I just did the calculation and Lind is about 40 AB away from being able to qualify.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 How could he not. The guy is a f***ing monster haha it's kinda funny how 2 really good months win over the fans after 2 extremly bad years lol
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 3 walks, not good. 70 pitches already.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Johnson won't give us length today... Maybe Wang or Dickey will in the next few games
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Great job JJ ya f***ing bum
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 sigh............... Give it right back. Johnson just cannot seem to keep it together.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 That's why I asked on here... I seem to remember it being something like 3 AB's / team game or something like that... not sure really You need 3.1 AB for every game, Jays played 61 games = 189. Lind has 149 AB (not including today)
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 This is why this team cannot get an sustained momentum.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Wasnt a good pitch and was hit hard, but Gose makes that catch, or even Bautista if he was there. Melky looks awful
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 He's nibbling out there FFS finish him
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Johnson won't give us length today... Maybe Wang or Dickey will in the next few games
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 If Gose could be a .270 / .330 hitter I'd take him over Melky.
sdyment Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 You need 3.1 AB for every game, Jays played 61 games = 189. Lind has 149 AB (not including today) Cool. Thanks. I edited my last post. So, I guess if he plays a bit more, he can make it...
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 If Gose could be a .270 / .330 hitter I'd take him over Melky. Of course I doubt Gose can be that.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 sigh..................this staff continually lets this team down in games they should win. 80 pitches already. Still not sold on JJ, seems erratic, quite a few meatballs as well.
