theblujay Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I'm so glad AA made sure we got Boni in the Reyes trade.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I challenge someone to find me a worse bunter than Emilio Bonifacio He doesn't have a clue how to bunt. He does tat annoying chop thing every single time.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Anyone who thinks Gose will/can provide more value than Rasmus is an idiot.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I would take Rasmus over Gose. A 5 tool player, who is our best hitter with RISP this season. don't get me wrong rasmus is one of my favourite jays but gose is younger and better defensivly. Rasmus MAY hit better but gose has so much potential and younger. If you get a chance to get a good prospect to replenish the farm you do it when you can brring up an adequete replacement.
Cello Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Buehrle 57 pitches, 36 strikes Darvish 76 pitches, 49 strikes
baseballsss Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Stick Colby on a corner. I love the idea of having multiple CF defenders in the same outfield. i'd love to put colby in left.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Stick Colby on a corner. I love the idea of having multiple CF defenders in the same outfield. Over-rated. Just look at the Angels.
SexyNewForum Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Stick Colby on a corner. I love the idea of having multiple CF defenders in the same outfield. I agree. I kind of hope melky gets hurt for a while so we can test Gose and Rasmus out there together That and get an idea if gose' bat plays in the majors with a semi permament position
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I've been saying this for 2 years. Rasmus in Left and Gose in CF. I feel like Gose' arm will play better in LF... but w/e
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Quick inning here and Buehrle has a chance to go really deep here.
hummus Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 You stat geeks are really f***ing annoying. Take your +ripb and shove it up for fWar- useless monkeys
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Wow another Mexican free swinger with an easy out Great inning Mark!
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I feel like Gose' arm will play better in LF... but w/e Huh?
baseballsss Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I feel like Gose' arm will play better in LF... but w/e ? doesn't gose have the strongest arm in the organization other then sirrea?
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 So the Angels' poor record is evidence that having plus defense at multiple OF spots is "overrated"? You don't seem very smart. No, I didn't say that. I said it's over-rated. Having a stellar OF isn't going to turn you into a contender.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 ? doesn't gose have the strongest arm in the organization other then sirrea? Ya.. I feel like LF has more chances for assists than CF
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 No, I didn't say that. I said it's over-rated. Having a stellar OF isn't going to turn you into a contender. But it'll certainly help...
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Anyone who thinks Gose is incapable of 2-WAR seasons is an idiot. Gose is a solid CF starter ~2WAR (with .255/.320/.390 is enough)
SexyNewForum Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Bautista time to heat up a little... tagging on a run or two here could lock this game up
baseballsss Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Gose apparently has the strongest arm in professional baseball. Better then Sierra. seriously? i didn't know it was that strong lol
Sparky12 Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Stick Colby on a corner. I love the idea of having multiple CF defenders in the same outfield. This is ideal
Dude Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 No, I didn't say that. I said it's over-rated. Having a stellar OF isn't going to turn you into a contender. http://i.imgur.com/MlQbUqY.gif
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 No, I didn't say that. I said it's over-rated. Having a stellar OF isn't going to turn you into a contender. Ok yea lets completely ignore defense then jesus.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 But it'll certainly help... I'd rather have a better offensive OF than defensive OF
baseballsss Verified Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Ya.. I feel like LF has more chances for assists than CF if there good defensively then you put the in CF or right not left
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 am i the only one who doesn't miss lawrie.. sure we have to play scrubs but brett is awful to watch when slumping One of the most frustrating things to watch is Lawrie struggling like this year
