Rangers::

  • In his only 3 starts against the Jays last year, Darvish went 2-1 with a 3.56 ERA
  • Adrian Beltre had an RBI single in the first to drive in the Rangers only run. That hit pushed his streak to 12 games. He's 9/27 (.333) with a homer against Buherle
  • The Rangers have scored 3 runs or less in 7 of the last 11 games that saw them lose their lead in the West go to the Oakland Athletics

 

Jays:

Yu Darvish is going to need some run support--he's lost/gotten a no-decision in his last 3 starts because of a lack of scoring, mostly due to injuries to Kinsler and now Moreland.

It's hilarious and awesome and depressing that Reyes is fifth on our team in WAR right now, with all of 10 games played this year. Mostly depressing though.

Yep. Pretty unlikely he would have kept up his 9.6 WAR pace, but still, it will be awesome to have him back, even if it's too late. Anybody hear anything recently? Are we looking at roughly three weeks here?

Thole not starting today is stupid. Especially a day game after a night game. Darvish will strike out JPA at least 3 times. But the best news of the day is Evan Crawford finally being DFA'ed. I've been waiting for this day for so long.

 

I would guess that Gibbons wants to keep JPA working with Buehrle after the two of them seem to be really clicking the last few games.

Maybe Thole will play on the road alot to balance out JP's ineptness when playing outside of Toronto.

I get that it's Darvish, but this team is at a point now where even winning Series might not be enough...The God Damn Houston Astros reeled off 6 wins in a row and something like 7/8. Why should we not be able to do this???

Save this site, this is the third Jays game in a row he will be streaming, maybe he is realizing he gets the most hits streaming the Jays, anyways thee will be an HD stream here. It runs really smooth.
