The other school of thought is that it may be the best pitch you see. If they miss twice, you do not want to get ball 3...... the pitcher assumes the batter is taking all the way and throws one right down broadway.

 

That doesn't matter at all. Fact is the first 2 were in the dirt, not EVEN CLOSE. You take the 2-0 because even if he throws one down broadway for a strike, you're still in a fastball count and are pretty much just as likely to get something to hit. If he misses, like it was almost obvious he would, you have the luxury of taking two pitches, or pulling the trigger on the beach ball he has to throw down the middle. It's a game of percentages and when a guy puts two in the dirt with the bases loaded, those percentages tell you that the next pitch is a take all the way. I understand your school of thought there, but with the way the first two were thrown, there's no way you swing at the third, no way in hell.

I think I already conceded that I was wrong... maybe I didn't though... I was listening to the radio. Didn't know the pitch was that bad.

He was Dominating in triple A while we had Jeffries and Thad Weber throwing meatballs in extra inning games.

AA should be fired for that decision alone

Well it was right after Jay pee went to the mound and called for a fourth fastball in a row, I think it was directed at JP or the ump. I had to step out of the house after Rasmus' 2 run bomb. Came back home, read the recap on Gameday saw JP caused an in the park HR lol. I'm guessing CottonCandys on some thin ice.

I'm not whining neither asswipe, I'm calling it as I see it......and almost every poster here is doing precisely the same thing. In case you didn't understand, I was saying that way too many times, a hitter goes 3 for 3 and comes up with the game on the line and does nothing. Have you been watching this team and paying attention to how many runners they've been leaving on base on a daily basis? Never mind, I think my post was pretty clear. If you don't get it, that's your f***ing problem.

it makes me wonder who else could be called up to help this team win games.. I'm sure there are many more options than half these scrubs.

AA is like a bum that sits at the backdoor of your local diner waiting for them to throw out scraps or stale/rotten food.

 

Tries it, tastes like s*** and throws it up.

 

Picks up trash like Thad Webber, lets him implode in a crucial situation, then DFA's him before he can even hit the showers or learn his new teammates names.
