deadlee Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Bautista being much more selective. The April Jose was terrible. This.... One of the better improvements of the past month... I love it when jays are selective in their at-bats... and the top of our line=up has been going deeper in counts a lot more often in May.. If only the rest of the team would do it, we would be a MUCH better lineup. Anyone know where to get stats on pitches seen per at-bat, by month or series?
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Wow I thought the uniforms were screwed up by a bad wash... didn't realize they're actually SUPPOSED to look like crap
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 We'll make hudson look awesome today Tim Hudson is awesome. So consistent over his career, and I love watching him pitch.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Can someone fill me in why Matt Devlin is suddenly doing play-by-play every game? I'm not complaining, it's a treat. Just wondering where the f*** Buck is.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Reed looks exactly the same + 15 lbs

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2013 Author Posted May 27, 2013 Hudson always owns this team. Or maybe not, but it feels like he does. I read a preview that said he had a sub-3 ERA against the Jays IIRC

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Delvin > Buck IMO. Devlin is a consummate professional and has made a seamless transition to baseball. He was born to do play-by-play.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Buerhle on a roll then walks a guy with 2 outs again.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Was wondering this myself...? And where does Devlin come from? He sounds like a hockey guy? He's the Raptors play-by-play guy and he's excellent.
Shogun89 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Uggla probably got teased a lot as a kid with a name like that.

Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Does it seem like the Jays bats don't come alive until they start losing?
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Get this guy out now, wasting pitches on 2 out walks.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Does it seem like the Jays bats don't come alive until they start losing? lol, seems like it, almost always behind it seems.
