PuppyStyle Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 What's the point in having him pitch if he won't be effective because of his injury issues If he will be as effective as Jo Jo Reyes then there is no point in having him pitch
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Depends on how he really feels Is pain affecting his performance or not? If so yeah, some DL time might help him recover But we don't really know how he's feeling and this team has a history of not fully informing the press and fanbase in this regard
crrr Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I'm not a big believer in war, but he has 0.6 WAR, and given our replacement guys are pretty poor, it really doesn't make any sense

Did I misunderstand?
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Because even if he pitches in pain, he's still better than any other option there.

PuppyStyle Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Author Posted May 27, 2013 Our starting pitchers have not thrown a complete game so far this year yet? beautiful and half of our batting lineup are automatic outs if or when Jays do miss playoffs it won't be hard to understand why we missed playoffs once again
Dude Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 (edited) We've seen Ortiz, Jenkins, and Nolin this past week, why would we DL Dickey unless a Doctor or RA himself deems himself unfit to play. dogg, unless you know something we don't, this is a stupid idea. Think before you post, realize not every thought that pops into your head is thread worthy, you can voice an opinion without making a new thread, novel concept i know. Edited May 27, 2013 by Dude

Errorcebia Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 We have no depth. It's just like how Kelly Johnson played through injuries all last year, and now he is tearing it up in Tampa. How good would that bat have looked in this lineup?
