Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Blanco isn't going anywhere unless him or JP gets hurt.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 How long do the jays have to keep Blank-o on the roster??? he's taking up a roster spot that could be put to much better use. It's not like we don't have a better option in our system right now, we wouldn't even have to make a trade to upgrade.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 smoke some more weed s*** for brains Says the blind man, get a clue...........The human element has always been there, rasmus has always been terrible at swinging at bad pitches, a few close calls does not change the fact he was an idiot on that play, you defending it just shows you are an idiot. You derp.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 But instead we call up Storey and that Thad guy Some of the guys in AAA were signed to make the Bisons as good as they could. Guys like Jimenez, Negrych, Gomez and a few of the pitchers were signed to help the Bisons compete.
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Great Dickey is getting stronger, too bad he was s*** early in the game.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 This team is just bad fundamentally. Bad fundamentals does not a winning team make.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 I'm still not a fan of the dickey trade.. and nothing has come close to changing that.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 It's pretty simple.. they are not going to bring up thole to play 1-2 games a week...
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 that was crushed and so is Dickey's feelings
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Bahahahah, Limit the Damage Dickey! 9 retired in a row, great!!! Good job!! Personal accomplishment!! 6 EARNED
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 It's not like we don't have a better option in our system right now, we wouldn't even have to make a trade to upgrade. a 4 man bench of Gose (whose not gonna play), Izturis (who we hope doesn't play), DeRosa (who is fine as the 25th guy but has guys who are worse than him sitting beside him) and then we have Blank-o who is not even a 1 tool player.(unless old has become a tool)
Cello Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 what's the excuse now? broken nail? opened roof? back spasm?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Remember when we thought we had a good starting lineup?
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 AA is a genius!!!!! skjsdnkgjnsjig
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Tough to see Dickey struggle like this, such a likeable guy, but it is what it is. Looks like Gibbons got greedy trying to get as many innings as possible. Offense has sucked as well, but it's tough to come back from deficits every game with the starters struggling so much. Worst part out of all this is that the Jays are stuck with guys only AA would trade for.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 The only question with TdA is his ability to say healthy. It's hard to envision him not being a good player. His plate discipline is already outstanding. Noah Syndergaard is still a bit of an unknown. But you almost never see arms like his moved. Especially they way hes built. 6'6 240 and hes only 20 years old. The Mets committed highway robbery... The victim was Anflopolous
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Good lord Cecil has been our best pitcher minus casey this year................................
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 The jays cannot compete against Al east teams, considering that is their division this is an issue lol.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 At least we get to enjoy this gong show. This F.O. is a circus show.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 The Mets committed highway robbery... The victim was Anflopolous Remember how irate everyone was with the mention of d'Arnaud being the return for Dickey? Little did we know that AA didn't was going to sweeten the pot with Syndergaard.

The thing that stings the most is, we've been surpassed by the Orioles, a team that we considered a laughing stock before the 2012 season began... We are legit the worst team in the AL EAST now, and going forward... AA literally butchered this franchise in one winter

havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 That trade actually made me physically ill. It's a couple months later so talking about it is a little better. But the worse Dickey pitches the more painful is. We were hoping for a minimum of 3 excellent seasons from Dickey. We might not even get 1. I hated the trade, but I thought Dickey would at least pitch well enough to make his contract valuable. This guy has been a disaster and we spent our #1 and #2 prospects to get him. Worst part is that we are stuck with JPA as well.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
