ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Is it true that MLB now has the toughest PED testing regimen in pro sports? If it is, then it makes it even worse that so-called journalists won't stop with the evidence-free accusations. It's always been amusing to me how some other sports' athletes are celebrated for being muscle covered freaks and even fat guys are applauded whereas in baseball a fat guys is used to ridicule all baseball players as bad athletes. Anyway, I agree with Bautista's comments.

In terms of nationality PR - Igor, Pudge, Sierra Cubans -Canceco, Palmeiro USA - Braun, Bonds, McGwire, Clemens, Pettitte Most players use/used banned substances, stereotype for your nationality is ********.

And a substantial amount of Dominicans... It seems, simply from news reports that the DR has the highest portion of players using something funky
crrr Verified Member Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 and that doesn't even consider the very real scenario that Jose and Edwin took something, too
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Ortiz is a first class player and even better humam being from what I can tell. Good for Jose sticking up for him
declan_44 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Why don't the journalists kick up a shitstorm over the umps? As readers, the PED angle has kind of played out (Unless we nab Arod again, f*** him). I'd like to see an independent tribunal of journalists review disputed ump calls. It would be tragically awesome to see, umps have no sway of the press and the press knows the average fan wants to roast the worthless (100000k a year salary) dicks over a fire.
