Now almost mid-may, team starter era is 4.88, second worst in all of baseball, last year it was 4.66............... Despite all the money upgrading rotation, we got worse......

 

Yes, the bats were asleep in April but have come alive in may, but we simply cannot win with pitching like this, and this was before the injuries... Amazed how just 1 or 2 injuries and we seem to have almost no option and no depth. It's still possible, anything can happen, but it's highly unlikely at this point our pitching is anywhere near good enough to make a run at the post season.
