JaysZee Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Jays are in some real trouble going forward. JA Happ will not be around for the foreseeable future. The pitching staff is in shambles. This cannot be sustained. Good win tonight. I dont think Happ is nearly the pitcher you are making him out to be,
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 FatCow, Only 6 innings..........then we lost 4-1 bro

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 great win. horrible face ball for Happ. the Pen was brilliant again. jays need to make moves tonight. be interesting to see who they bring in and who goes down. they need relievers tomorrow. Romero wont go 5.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 My phone died bro I was too far away from computer to keep posting btw Jimmy Paredes destroyed CJ Wilson tonight
digiblader Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 The way JA Happ has pitched recently, he was bullpen bound when Johnson comes back.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Romero vs Moore tough one hope we get the Romero from the first 3 innings last game and not the blister kid from the 4th. I dont think we can expect Romero to go more than 5. need to find at least 4 innings from the pen.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 btw Jimmy Paredes destroyed CJ Wilson tonight he's only 1/4 today with that double bro

Eddiek19 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Huge win for the team, especially with Moore and Price on deck. 3 in a row, can't believe it took until May 7th for me to say that. Let's steal one tomorrow for 4!
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Jose Altuve was 2-3 with a walk, homer and steal! Your team is heating up. Yup! Hitting .395/.438/0.605 so far this week!
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Replacement options. On the 40 man - Jenkins pitched his first outing of the year yesterday, went 5 innings. I would think that he's a 5 inning option at best. With Redmond hurt he's the only option on the 40. Not on the 40 - Dave Bush, Ramon Ortiz, Justin Germano. One of these probably make the most sense but who gets DFA'd (or Happ to the 60 day DL) for them. Best non trade option - Zach Clark - Outrighted yesterday by Baltimore. Pitched well in Norfolk this year and it's an arm that you can beat the hell out of without much consideration for his health.
Bluejays0988 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 First Post! Great to actually get a streak going here, scary play to see Happ go down like that. Although somewhat unrealistic with the recent injuries to the starters lets hope we can keep this thing going. If anything else these last couple games have at least been tolerable to watch!
cesarb182 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Because it was a moral victory. He didn't, Delabar got it. lol, he deserved it

Caper Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Man... baseball can be humbling... 3 days ago... in my mind. 1) Thole had to be called up and at least split games with Arencebia. 2) Mister had to go and Negrych called up 3) DeRossa had to be DFA'd, because he had no role on this team. 4) Colby to be traded and Gose called up ... and since then.. I think Derossa has been hero in 2 of the last 3 games..... Mister comes up with a huge bomb and a bunch of decent AB's as well as solid defense. JPA came up huge with the biggest hit of his career..... and Colby hits two very, very timely and important bombs. humbling indeed

I dont think he has 100 pitches in him yet.
