Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I don't really care what happens in this game. This one doesn't really matter. It's a disgrace that the score is 4-1 right now. It should be 2-1 at the most.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Nice quick inning from Lincoln! Mind to the game, LETS GO OFFENCE!
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Where is Kirksaw when we need him. I think the umps can stop the play If so, the umps are the real douche bags.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Molina and Escobar scored, Jennings ran to 3rd and the play died Yes, I know that. That's not what I asked.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Yes, I know that. That's not what I asked. Ah I re-read it, it was because the ball was down the RF line, so the ball needed to be in the infield with a fielder to call a play dead. The infield ran to Happ so Bautista brought the ball in I believe

theblujay Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 The Jays look like their heads aren't in the game. Maybe they should just forfeit
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 For levity: My 10 year old saw how well the Colorado Rockies were doing a couple of weeks ago. We are on vacation in Punta Cana. He had just had his picture taken with a monkey on his shoulder and told me he wanted one for a pet. Later, discussing baseball he says re the Rockies "what if they win the World Series?" I say no way they will. He wants to bet. "What will you give me if they DO win it?" Foolishly, what do I answer??? A pet monkey of course, idiot that I am. So if the Rockies manage to win the WS I'm buying him a damn monkey. Or bribing him with something else. Tonight we are both cheering for said overperforming Rockies to beat the Yankees. Just don't win the WS please.
tmath Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 It looks like the Jays have gone back to the HR or nothing approach again...

If you are really not him, you should consider changing it I was considering signing up as eastcoastjaysfan... Just to see if it would be taken from me... But I just did this on a whim.. I didn't think the board would last more the a day, tell you the truth. Either way... Gets a little annoying, when every 3rd post is someone sooking about banning some one. In a way it's almost worst then trolling. As for my name... It shouldn't mater what it is. Mods shouldn't be deleting threads and handing out warnings, just so they can go on a power trip.

If the infielders abandoned their bases to help Happ preventing Bautista from getting the ball in, then it was incredibly bad sportsmanship for the Rays to take the extra bases. If not, then it's hard to blame the rays for playing it out.

impact Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 well I hope the Rays enjoy their win coming at the expense of one of our pitchers almost dying.
