I am aware of this. There is a toggle in Fantrax.

 

I figured we would allow it now because we can. In real life the teams can replace the player, right.

 

We also still have an IL limit of 5 for now because the "prevent teams from adding injured players" option is a paid option in Fantrax. I wanted to make the IL infinite but prevent red-flag adds, but alas.

Once these last two owners make their final picks I will put everyone on waivers. Watch your emails around that time for a short memo on our transaction rules this season as we transition to a now true dynasty league.

I would word it like this...

 

As soon as Havok makes the final pick in the Waiver Draft I will put every player on waivers. I have inputted the waiver priority and I believe it is correct. You are all free to spend your priority on players, if you want. You can put players on your DL now if you want.

The time that waivers process will now be 2 AM Eastern (it used to be 3 AM in Yahoo). The players will likely go on waivers tonight. Don't expect any announcement, just check tomorrow and make your claims if you plan to.

 

You can pick anyone who was eligible for the Waiver Draft during this waiver period. So if they have touched AAA or MLB in their career they are eligible.

 

Once the waiver period is over, so throughout the season, you can no longer add any free agents unless they have MLB experience. If a player is called up in real life they are free to be added at 8 PM Eastern on the day after their first active day on the real life 25 man roster. Any owner can request that a commissioner place a player on debut waivers, as soon as that player has been officially called up in real life (you would do this if you want to make a claim on the player but don't want to compete for 8 PM adds. You might also want to do this just to make sure that nobody snipes the player at 8 PM - you can maybe force someone to use a waiver claim even if you don't want the player.)

 

Suspended players now fit on our DL because we can in Fantrax.

We still have a 5 DL player limit. Mostly this is because I can't turn off red-flag additions in Fantrax without making it a paid league.

Remember you can freely demote green flags now. Promotion and demotion is not regulated, aside from the rule that you can't stash players with extensive MLB experience on your farm through the start of the annual draft (see the rules page for the thresholds).

 

We have our normal prospect draft this summer than our first New Player Draft in the spring of 2021.

I do not think I will mess with the 2020 prospect draft to make certain players ineligible, in order to beef up the 2021 draft. Rather, I think what we will do is expand our rosters before the 2021 NPD to make the league a bit deeper, thereby making the draft a bit more interesting. I think we will go to 26 MLB players (to mirror the real MLB) and perhaps 14 prospects (prospects are fun!). We are making the DDL better, more efficient, and less forgiving.
