I think Gonzales vs. McHugh comes down to personal preference at this point. Gonzales is a SP, but his velo is down 2 ticks to 88-89 and he's been really bad this year. McHugh was also bad, but is now probably a pretty good reliever with SP eligibility. Would you trade Gonzales for Seth Lugo?

 

I think asking for MiLB 10 + McHugh for Gonzales + robles is worse than me thinking you just preferred McHugh to Gonzales and didn't care about Hansel Robles.

He's really not the same pitcher. Velo down two ticks to 88, swinging strikes down under 8%, and xFIP sitting up close to 5. I mean, I was interested enough to want to roster him, but it was a gamble on his velo coming back, because 2019 Marco Gonzales is not a good pitcher.
