BTS Community Moderator Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 I'm rooting for Spanky to win it all. What a way would it be for Ortiz to end his career. I hate the underdog. I'd probably root for Dinger, but I think he's the BORED favourite, and I can't imagine how insufferable he'd be if he won both. I think I'll join FTD's corner.

You forgot to mention how I'm running away with TAC and also the heavy favourite in PL.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 What's your secret? Being really smart and obsessed with baseball.

TRM Verified Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 In this round, I'm supporting NJH, Spanky and Dinger (and myself, of course)
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 blegh. Norman-cide. Can't root for the underdog brah
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 In this round, I'm supporting NJH, Spanky and Dinger (and myself, of course) I'm going with me, you, Spanky, and TCA. Not because I like TCA better than NJH, I just think it would be funny to see after all the s*** talking NJH has done to TCA about mismanaging and missing the playoffs over the last 4 seasons.

BTS Community Moderator Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Well I'm hoping his little break helped fix whatever was up with him. I can't not start him.. that would be funny, but I kinda want him to take a few licks before he gets a playoff win. Yeah. Can't root for a 1st time playoff team to find immediate success. It's why the only two teams I really want to see bounced in round one are Spanky and TCA. Also, not sure you're aware but you made the LOD playoffs and might want to tend to your roster.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 that would be funny, but I kinda want him to take a few licks before he gets a playoff win. What if this is the only time I'm ever in the playoffs..
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 What if this is the only time I'm ever in the playoffs.. Then balance is restored and all is good in the world again.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 In this round, I'm supporting NJH, Spanky and Dinger (and myself, of course) Team Jaysblue!
TRM Verified Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 f***.. losing for the third time in four seasons in the playoffs to division rival FTD would be pretty gutting.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Then balance is restored and all is good in the world again. I'm just glad to be out of the "No playoff appearance club"
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Jedd Gyorko has been a godsend, 8 HR since I picked him up Aug 17. Fatty can hit!
TRM Verified Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 I'm just glad to be out of the "No playoff appearance club" Somehow it was your weakest team on paper out of the last three years that managed to achieve this
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Somehow it was your weakest team on paper out of the last three years that managed to achieve this first time the league fell in line with the paper rankings.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Somehow it was your weakest team on paper out of the last three years that managed to achieve this I cut back on the liquor throughout the week days.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 6.10 ERA tonight. Huge improvement from Monday!
TRM Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Two days down, five to go. Spanky - we can do it!!
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I wish Blackmon would quit being a little bitch and play some games.
TRM Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Keirmaier has absolutely lit it up for me on the bench this week... f***.
Laika Community Moderator Posted September 8, 2016 Author Posted September 8, 2016 Keirmaier has absolutely lit it up for me on the bench this week... f***. You added Matt Garza - why? Didn't start him - why? And he pitched well - how!?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 If I am not mistaken Daniel Norris is exactly one appearance away from reaching his threshold (23 starts + (0.5 x 5 extra appearances) = 25.5).
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 And Strasburg is dead again. By the sounds of it it didn't look good.
