Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Remember when I said Kelvin Herrera could be a 100 K reliever, and cyborg laughed at me and called me a stupid f***ing retard? Yeah. You're welcome NJH.

Yeah. You're welcome NJH. I like how the throw-in reliever in the Reyes-Gordon swap will probably end up being the 2016 MVP from the deal. And possibly even the MVP in general.
BTS Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Homer for Kim, now rocking a 141 wRC+. I hope Joey Rickard breaks a femur.
BTS Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Man that iso going through the roof now! ISO isn't a category. I think he can do similar things to pre-2016 Heyward and Yelich. It's not sexy, but it is useful, especially in a good park and lineup.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Anyone want to gamble Billy Burns remembers how to swing a baseball bat? I've had enough. Asking a waiver or milb pick. Giddy up! I'd gladly drop Enciarte for Burns.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Dear person who may work for a MLB front office. A simple thanks will confirm if this third party story I heard is true. I will put it in quotes as it is the way I heard the story "it is pretty much unanimous across the clubhouse that they would rather the front office explore trades for JD, than let Bautista walk...the front office understands as Donaldson is one of the least likeable people in baseball"

Not really surprising given what we've seen from him on the field, and that Billy Beane pretty much hated him.

Go f*** yourself. Do you want to win, or do you want happy fun times in the clubhouse. This isn't your little league team. Just concentrate on winning.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 JD > everyone else in that clubhouse combined
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 In no way did I say this person say the Front Office would oblige. But I just kind of want to know if JD really is an *******...not that it bothers me at all as I like *******s so much more. It's why I play in this group. The person also said (and now certain people could figure out who this was) that things that Shapiro and Atkins talk about in the media would have got an employee reprimanded under AA. I love that about Shatkins.

Ok, well, he nicknamed himself "Big Daddy" for reasons that we're not privy to. So yeah, I'd say he's probably a doucher behind closed doors.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 JD > everyone else in that clubhouse combined Trying to imagine an acceptable trade for JD doesn't even seem plausible.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Hey guys, why does Adam Duvall have 22 home runs? He's kinda like a better Khris Davis, or maybe a worse Mark Trumbo.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 I've been through a lot of hardships in this league, it's about damn time I got my free 40 HR hitter.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 As long as Mengden is my next magical ace, it's cool with me. You have a lot of gall to ask for that, after Kluber, DeGrom, and Rich Hill being Clayton Kershaw when it mattered the most. Thankfully Nicasio didn't pan out.

I'm putting Josh Donaldson OTB cause he's a dick

Laika Community Moderator Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 It's really satisfying to follow fringe players for a long time and then actually happen to own them when they break out. Junior Guerra, Drew Pomeranz, and Jon Villar are the reasons that I log into Yahoo every day.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Yikes, good thing I benched Dyson today.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 cummon guys. Nunez is rotting on my team as I have a SS and 3B I'm going to play. Guys is killing it this year, has good flexibility. I don't want to wait for one of you to lose an important cog to make a deal. Hit me up!
BTS Community Moderator Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Holy f***, Tim Anderson just walked.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 o do u have some guy filling your SS position currently? z3r0s has a great young core and hands-down the best farm in the league. That team is going to be a perennial contender maybe as soon as next year.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Interesting picks with Rodney and Cishek. Probably as likely to combine for 70 saves as they are to both hit the waiver wire 3 weeks into the season. It was looking good for the 70 Saves, right up until today.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Half of z3r0s farm would probably still be the best farm.
