Since I have less Waiver Draft picks than roster spots, I'm going to make an open offer. I will trade Michael Lorenzen for any waiver draft pick -- last round is fine. The catch is, Lorenzen is past the rookie minimums, and is therefore eligible for the waiver draft. So essentially, you'd be taking him on as your last roster spot, rather than as a prospect, which would therefore protect him. Theoretically anybody can draft Lorenzen at this point, so if you're interested let me know asap.

He's actually not over the minimum. It's 26 njh units and he has 24 (21 starts + 6 relief appearances).

 

If he was over the limit then you would have had to call him up or cut him on Sunday.

 

So he's still your property and he's still prospect eligible until June.
