What's everyones worst trade? This one sort of makes me cry every night now...

Boxcar8 Carlos Correa, MiLB #16 therealmin Matt Holliday, Hiroki Kuroda

this wasn't great...

therealmin Jeff Samardzija, MiLB #79 TheCatsAss Carlos Gomez, MiLB #65

This was awful, but I did it because I was acquiring Grandal and I needed a closer to go for it that year...

Silvergun Jonathan Lucroy, MiLB #105 therealmin John Jaso, Francisco Rodriguez, MiLB #24, MiLB #80

As mentioned above, this looked awful for about 2 years but I love it now...

Dr. Dinger Hyun-Jin Ryu, MiLB #80 therealmin Yasmani Grandal, MiLB #71

Lynn and a 2nd for Trumbo

Archer for a 1st

Liriano and junk for Headley and junk

Those three look like complete lost causes. A few others could end up very bad, but have a chance to swing back close to even.

Somehow I've avoided any really ugly trades.

Fowler for Pearce was bad in hindsight, but I don't GAF about Fowler.

Bauer for Olt was terribad, but ditto. Bauer hasn't been good enough to really miss.

Still a couple that could come back to get me. I package Stroman with Tapia and Renfroe, so that will take a couple years to play out. Also the Souza deal - he has been fringy and Pompey is still very much alive.

Rusney might not be any good, though.

Don't even worry about his numbers this year - just a case of the AAAs.

Carlos Gonzalez is as hot as a hitter can be. How many of you tried to buy low on him at some point this year?

all of the BBDL

As for my worst trade it's a no doubt one.

Kipnis for Fowler and Infante. Stupid trading for position need (which goes well with my previous post about dropping Pollock and Span) So dumm!

Slightly lowers Tulo's fantasy value, but this is probably the best destination he could have gone to. Stacked lineup and a hitter's park.

I actually think it goes up. Doubt Gibbons rests him once every 3 or 4 games like Weiss does. Plus, only one pitcher's park for RHB in the AL East.

Tell me how does a trade to the Blue Jays lower his fantasy value lol?

You're such a party pooper seriously.

Tulo will be fine hitting at the Rogers Centre. Plus hitting in the AL East parks and in this lineup. Better him being traded to Toronto instead of the Mets for an example.

No one is saying tulo is worthless now but his value is slightly lower.

You're underestimating the power of Coors. Look at his career splits if you don't believe me. It's not like the Rockies had a bad lineup either -- it was pretty stacked.

You should be happy because we all knew he would eventually get traded, and Toronto is a great landing spot value wise.

Like Boxy said, he won't be sitting that much in Toronto. The luxury of having the DH in the AL can be huge. Instead of Tulo sitting every Sunday for an example, he can DH rather than play the field.

Again, though, Weiss rests him far too much. Something Gibby won't do.

DH will probably do him wonders. Weiss might have the right idea not running him out at short 6 days a week.

The really dumm Dave Cameron talking about Tulo trades in May.

Toronto Blue Jays

The Jays don’t really need another right-handed slugger, and with Jose Reyes on the books and Devon Travis playing well at second base, they probably don’t need another middle infielder either. But they do have the kind of young arms that Colorado would likely be interested in. Of the Rockies took Reyes back with some of those pitching prospects, maybe there’s a deal to be struck here, as the monetary differences wouldn’t be all that large anymore. In reality, the Blue Jays path of least resistance is to find another starting pitcher or two to upgrade their own rotation, rather than trading young arms for another big bat, but it’s not impossible to see Alex Anthopolous getting involved if he sees this as the best addition he can make to a team that needs a short-term boost to help an aging core make a push to the postseason.

Fantasy wise the only real loser is Castro

Is there any reason to expect Tulo to make more DH starts than Reyes was?

He is more fragile
