BTS Community Moderator Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 I just thought it was funny that at one point you were seen as a pillager in DDL (no disrespect; an interesting thought). I was way too abrasive back then lol. Although I stand by what I said. JFAS 2013 Projected Standings (March 25th, eventual playoff teams are bold): 1. KingKat 119.2 2. The Real Min 86.8 3. AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 I can't find the power rankings anymore. I saved the page, but the pages seem to have changed.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 There's some really spectacular Min/North drama from the early months of the league. Also, don't sleep on the fact that I was a very last minute, ad hoc 20th member. Worst trade ever in this pool. No one for Min
TheHurl Site Manager Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Did Hurl sneak in? I tried to find the 2013 playoffs but the previous seasons drop-down isn't working for me on Yahoo!. Nope I was sitting in 5th at the break and ended up 12th or 13th. I've hated pools ever since

JFaS is dumm! Why don't you guys have good fun conversations like this when I'm a little less busy? f*** all this baseball talk
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 What was JFaS' power rankings for this year?
TheHurl Site Manager Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Happy Cody Anderson day everyone! He'll leave in the 4th with an injury. There has never been an Anderson pitcher which hasn't been injury prone...Brett, Chase, Bryan, Allan, Jimmy, Jason...
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Happy Mike Montgomery day everyone! ftfy
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 So I own Joe Kelly again. Pretty sure this is the 4th time.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Mike Bolsinger also takes the hill today. A great day for pitching. Wow, this is offically Smoke and Mirrors Day.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Cody Anderson with a .165 BABIP and 98.8% LOB%... that's actually insane, even in a 30 inning sample.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Cody Anderson with a .165 BABIP and 98.8% LOB%... that's actually insane, even in a 30 inning sample. So weird watching him pitch. Never seen a guy get so much consistently weak contact and popups.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Huston Street did it in 2013 and he's been great since. Cleveland was smart to give Cody a shot and he's rewarding them handsomely. Huston Street's career BABIP is an unthinkably low .258, and over the last 4 seasons it's even lower than that. Must be his superb change. And his GB% is only like 27%, such a weird profile.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Cody Anderson with a .165 BABIP and 98.8% LOB%... that's actually insane, even in a 30 inning sample. I think it's safe to assume that these are both skills he possesses. Cody Anderson: elite #2, or Ace?

I remember reading an article about how Street has a unique ability to repeatedly throw the ball away on the black pitch after pitch. His command is good enough that hitters swing, but can't actually do anything with the pitches, and his stuff is just good enough to generate whiffs from time to time. I love Huston Street.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Just got your trade offer North. I like Hanley, but I can't move Anderson for him at this time.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Fantasy advice..... Can Sonny hold down the Jays???
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Just got your trade offer North. I like Hanley, but I can't move Anderson for him at this time. I was going to offer Longoria for him. But I guess that won't get it done.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Fantasy advice..... Can Sonny hold down the Jays??? Probably best just to flip a coin.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Fantasy advice..... Can Sonny hold down the Jays??? I would never bench Sonny Gray, if that's what you mean.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 I would never bench Sonny Gray, if that's what you mean. Might be for a daily league type thing.

He'll be available this offseason; I have far too many closers to keep.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 About that babip...ya'll jinxed the poor man I love when RTTM happens right before our eyes.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Cody Anderson with the infinite K/BB today. What a monster!
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Cody Anderson with the infinite K/BB today. What a monster! Easy to do when you don't make it out of the 3rd.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 You know, Choo hasn't even been terrible this year. On pace to go at least 20/75/75 315/415, and projections think the rates will climb. Keeper worthy for sure.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
