Geez, my boy Montgomery with back to back CG shutouts, this one a one-hitter. Looking like a possible keeper.

 

Glad I picked him up in the FC. I had him on my NA slot originally and then dropped him, though once he got called up I had a roster spot available. Regardless, I'll keep enjoying the ride!

I actually thought Hurl was talking about Justus Sheffield though.

 

1 AM trades are the best.

 

Julio Urias to thehurl for Tyler Glasnow and Carlos Santana.

 

I tried my hardest to talk him down from Glasnow to Justus, NJH is the worst though. Now I have the best pitcher in the minors.

Isn't V-Mart finished? Beltran has had better numbers so far this season. Beltran did leave the game today, so I guess we'll see if its a serious injury or not.

Yes. If V-Mart's knee injury either A) is chronic, or B) is not responsible for his poor play, then he is worthless. His value lies in the belief that neither are the case. Beltran just sucks. He has like a 100 wRC+ over 700 PA the last two years, and left today's game hurt. He's a step above waiver trash, not worth a 1st + top-100 prospect.

.302/.349/.500 with 7 HR and 23 RBI, 135 wRC+

 

Those numbers are plenty useful to a team looking for a 3rd OF/DH bat.

What's V-Marts numbers since coming off the DL, since we're Cherry picking?

 

In 39 plate appearances since coming off the DL, they have been solid and similar to what Beltran has done. Only 39 plate appearances though. I expect V-Mart to finish the season strong if he's healthy, never disagreed there. Just is ignorant on BTS' part to say that Beltran is waiver wire trash when they basically are both the same age, and Beltran has been more valuable in fantasy baseball so far this season. I don't think there is a drastic difference in trade value between the two.
