jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 What is Joc Pederson? Career line thru his first 200 ABs is now a very weird .218/.379/.455. The K rate is concerning but the 19.5% BB rate is f***ing godly. My gut says he's a star, but there's also a decent chance the floor is going to fall out, and so far he's shown no ability to hit lefties. I think he'll be a comparable player to Grady Sizemore (in his prime) offensively.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Snell vs. Schwarber et al today. Today is the day he gives up a run.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 He could be yours, Hurl. What good is that Santana fella doing you anyway? Snell is a start...keep talking (call me Dinger, but I have to see at least 3 seasons of a 0.00 ERA before I buy in). I've got 5 talking Santana already. I have no issue adding a sixth. We could hold an auction.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Shin-Soo Choo homer alert. wRC+ up to 112.
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Shin-Soo Choo homer alert. wRC+ up to 112. But down from 122
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 But down from 122 I've been out of the loop for a while, did he go on some slump?
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 Kind of miffed that I didn't jump on that brief buy-low period on Choo BTS when Choo was done three weeks ago, Pearce for Choo, yay or nay?

Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 What is going on Sir BTS. I don't usually pay too much attention to your matchups but this one kind of jumped off the page at me.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 Ok, so Jays_Fever traded pick #56 for Axford and then turned around and traded pick #56 again to GP in the Semien deal. GP and JF need to come up with an agreeable amendment to their trade. Since this really was JF's fault, he should be extra amenable to GP's asks. As a worst case / last resort scenario the trade could be reversed, but that seems silly given the small value of pick56.

Laika Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 BTS offense vs. Ryan Howard, who ya got?
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 On the bright side, I've never done a firesale in a dynasty league. Seems like it could be fun.

"AJ Pollock makes the leap" http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/fantasy-roto-arcade/shuffle-up--a-j--pollock-makes-the-leap-110440216.html Pollock is the type of youthful hitter Boxy should be building around, not moving for pitching prospects. I didn't understand that at all.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 Well Boxy only had Pollock because I felt bad for him and sent him some sleeper advice last season, so whatever.

TRM Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 It didn't have to be this way. thx for Correa btw. How's Kuroda doing? y u gotta be like dat Honestly though, Correa is probably gonna be a stud, but Kuroda and Holliday had/have been integral for my last two playoff runs and Holliday is still a big part of my offence. Would do trade again.
