I kinda hated it the moment I accepted it but I really like Odorizzi and am low on Nola. Bailey needed to turn into something to help me this year and it makes my rotation younger again.

I don't think it's a bad trade. Nola and Ortiz are fine prospects but clearing prospect space makes sense for you with the draft fast approaching. Odorizzi is the most valuable asset in the deal and he seems to have taken a step forward.

Bailey being broken for the next twelve months probably doesn't matter to Gibbers. Healthy Bailey > or = Odorizzi.

Yeah at the time of our deal, many people weren't that high on the arms I moved (Odorizzi & Heaney). Seems like now Odorizzi has taken that next step forward, and Heaney has been pitching well down in the minors & is on verge of a callup soon. I obviously still prefer Marte, though the deal wasn't as lopsided as many people made it out to be.
