BTS Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 At least FTD has Trout, or he'd be looking at a 2014 True Cards season.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 So he trades Pence away, then does a tradeback but gives up a draft pick, then Pence gets hurt. Thats pretty funny
TRM Verified Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Is it wrong for me to be stoked about this? It's wrong for me to be stoked about this. f*** this, I'm stoked about this. Dear MLB, Please throw Trout only high fastballs. It would be greatly appreciated in the effort to render Twist and Trout's offence worthless. Signed, A 2nd Leg to Stanton

Laika Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 At least FTD has Trout, or he'd be looking at a 2014 True Cards season. Ha, he even has Belt and Jerk-o. Really, the only one up and down that entire lineup who inspires confidence right now is Mike Fish.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Allen Craig is on the block. Interested in seeing what he goes for. Haven't gotten any interest in FC, but that's FC.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 He's been shopping Craig for over a year now, I think. Nary a nibble.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 You fools are all missing the buy-low opportunity. I would be interested in FC, but my OF and 1B/DH are crowded. This is a guy who had a .375 wOBA the previous two seasons. There's literally no way he's as bad as he was in 2014.

I'd consider buying low if he gets traded.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Where are the Red Sox going to play him though? I'd consider buying low if he gets traded. Then it wouldn't be buying *as* low, lol.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Where are the Red Sox going to play him though? I'd consider buying low if he gets traded. There's playing time at the corner OF spots and time at 1B/DH. An injury to any one of Ortiz, Napoli, Betts, Sandoval, Hanley, or Bogaerts thrusts him into a full-time opportunity. More to the point, he'll play if he hits.
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I'd have interest, but I'm already counting on like 5 bounce back seasons.

He may need two injuries though, with Castillo also occupying the outfield. And they also have Holt and Cecchini sitting around. What are you looking to get for him? Maybe GD is right and now's the time to buy.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I want a comparable SP, and definitions of this seem to vary considerably.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Since we're on the topic, the Jays could really use Allen Craig or Shane Victorino.
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I want a comparable SP, and definitions of this seem to vary considerably. A Matt Garza type seems fair. Matchmaking fee?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I just traded him a few months ago.
TRM Verified Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I'm out dinger, but I'd be interested. Let's talk?
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 Since we're on the topic, the Jays could really use Allen Craig or Shane Victorino. I agree somewhat, but I also feel really stupid for being kind of excited about what Pillar and Smoak can do this year.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I agree somewhat, but I also feel really stupid for being kind of excited about what Pillar and Smoak can do this year. Wow, you should feel stupid. Replacement level at best.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I'd probably want Dickey from min, Ervin from FTD, or Lackey from North. If one of you three (or others) is in at that cost, let me know.
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Prediction: North is out, the other two are interested.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I'd have interest, but I'm already counting on like 5 bounce back seasons. The more you add, the more that are bound to work out! Since we're on the topic, the Jays could really use Allen Craig or Shane Victorino. Have been thinking this for a week. Perfect fits.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 Can't see min trading any arms.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Since we're on the topic, the Jays could really use Allen Craig or Shane Victorino. Even Ethier could be interesting, since the Dodgers are apparently willing to eat half his contract.
