Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Andrew Heaney? If so, nice haul for Reyes.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Andrew Heaney? If so, nice haul for Reyes. I feel like I could have got more if we all didn't watch him play defense all year. Sours the whole perspective
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Pretty good haul for Reyes.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I'd be more concerned with his health than his D. I don't see him losing SS eligibility any time soon. You got 3 pretty solid impact prospects for him, hopefully one or two of them pan out.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I did have to trade Doolittle as well to be fair. I was happy with the return.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I think I overpaid a bit but losing is so f***ing boring after a while and I really like my offense with Reyes. Doolittle's been pretty studly now for a while

jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Yea figured as much, no worries
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I like the players you got Zeros. But then I'm also a sucker for youth. Reyes will still be one of the better SS for a few years. Seems pretty fair.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Nice haul but you should have held out for Andrew Andrew instead.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Now that Devon Travis is a Blue Jay he might as well go on the block. I mean guys the Jays have had so much success with young hitters coming through the organization an i don't think Travis is going to be any different. Offer me a deal to have your chance to have the next Robinson Cano....
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 could one of the commish's kindly process our little Reyes deal?
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 could one of the commish's kindly process our little Reyes deal? They are still probably looking for Andrew Andrew still.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 They are still probably looking for Andrew Andrew still. oh, this is going to be a while.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 oh, this is going to be a while. I'll do it when I get home if one of the other knob jockeys doesn't get there first
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 thanks Boxy. Its honestly not that important that it gets done right away, but I keep checking for some reason

Its honestly not that important that it gets done right away, but I keep checking for some reason Yeah I get it, it's nice to have closure. I should have gotten it last night but the only fantasy thing on my mind right now is the LOD drafts and whether i should take Harper or McCutchen.

Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 With Burnett looks like NJH just butt raped me..... Never thought he would come back.
Laika Community Moderator Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 With Burnett looks like NJH just butt raped me..... Never thought he would come back. wow, it really sounded like he'd retire. A 6th round pick for one year of Burnett should be a coup, even if he is 38. + he's heading back to Pitt where he had so much success. Also, the Rays just traded for Justin Williams so maybe he doesn't suck. Boxy u mad?

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Damn I was counting on Justin Williams playing in Chase. He's a good prospect.
Laika Community Moderator Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 With the Hellickson trade, looks like Alex Colome has a rotation spot. Guy has some s*** but he's reaching the majors as a fairly raw talent, not unlike Archer. Any takers?
Laika Community Moderator Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 Cobb Archer Smyly Moore Odorizzi Moore will only be 12 months from TJS at the end of April. Would have to be a perfect recovery and no other injuries in the rotation for Colome to not get a decent look. I think.

Laika Community Moderator Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 What about Karns? Don't you think he'd be ahead of Colome on the depth charts? According to RR Karns has options and Colome doesn't.
Laika Community Moderator Posted November 17, 2014 Author Posted November 17, 2014 And Stroman's value takes a nice little bump.
