So who has has the most disappointments on their major league roster this year? I'll start:

 

Gyorko - 57 wRC+ (traded)

Trumbo - 68 wRC+

Bogaerts - 84 wRC+

Butler - 87 wRC+

Belt - only 189 PA

Ramos - only 203 PA

 

6/9 opening day starters have contributed absolutely nothing. And that's not counting Choo (92 wRC+) or Headley (90 wRC+) who I acquired via trade.

 

Can anyone beat me?

Looks like there are nine teams going for it, with Sammy and Jaysblue just past the fringe. So someone is going to end up disappointed. I've started caring as much about the results of speedygose and TRM as NJH and TCA.

Yeah it's a crazy race. For instance, I've always just assumed you were a lock to make it. Now I realize how close you, TRM, WKD,and TCA actually are. With 5 weeks left, it's really anyone's game.

 

BTS probably has the hardest upcoming schedule in the league. His next 5 weeks: Dinger, Speedy, Havok, Myself, Silver. 4/5 of those are current playoff teams.

Yeah, if I get blown out a couple of times I'm right back in the battle for a playoff spot. I really can't afford a 12-1 type of loss to Dinger this week.

I've had some dominant PR weeks recently but no blowouts to show for it. Brett Gardner's performance last night shifted a 10-4 to 7-6. A four matchup win streak nonetheless.

Ya, my biggest loss of the season did not come at a good time lol. Should be a pretty dramatic end to the season for the final 3 spots
