Odorizzi not getting much love from the fantasy community for a guy that's got Ks out the ass and the lowest SIERA among SPs <25. Kind of crazy after what a disaster his April was.

The Royals fans who whine about the James Shields trade all the time for some reason never whine about losing Odorizzi. He is a really good young pitcher.

I can only speak for myself, but I just found Odorizzi to be extremely underwhelming during his first few times through the league in terms of both stuff and results. The velocity and the K rate weren't really there, and his AAA rate stats only ranged from pedestrian to good.

 

So if anyone else is like me, they might have kind of written him off as something less than he is, and they haven't really been paying attention to him this year especially after the garbage March/April.

 

I just Fangraphs.com'd him for the first time in months and I have to admit, his K rate knocked my buttplug clean out of my anus.

Guys, I don't think you all realize how enormously gratifying it is to draft a future Blue Jays Ace, graduate him onto your Dynasty league fantasy roster, and then watch him blossom immediately.

I'm looking for waiver upgrades for next season for Hellickson. Anyone willing? I'd like to get all my waivers in the first 2 rounds this year.

 

Guys are trading waiver picks left and right so it looks like we can do this if you still want to.

As was stated, waiver slot picks became tradeable as soon as 2015 draft picks did. We just forgot to add them to the spreadsheet. They are there now (scroll down!).

 

We will keep that pattern for future years. Next season's Rule 4 and Rule 5 picks will become legal trade chips immediately following the conclusion of our June Rule 4 draft.

 

Next year's rule 5 picks will not become tradeable right after the February rule 5. I don't like the idea of having picks from two different drafts and years in play at the same time. Seems messy.

He's been money lately, I watched the Lucroy vs Molina today concerning the framing debacle on this forum, but I was very impressed with Odirizzi's location, not very over powering but that split change is sick. (thks 2 Cobb)

Don't those priorities move by position to the seasons result? Just asking, they don't carry over because of position, etc,

 

In season waiver priorities do not = slots for the rule 5 draft (commonly called the waiver draft).

 

Boxy could blow his #1 waiver priority on someone like Nick Markakis this season, and his first round rule 5 pick for February 2015 would still be in the lottery for 1st overall.
