I'm 7 games under .500?

 

Oops, 5 games over. The point remains though, it's going to be tough for you to make it. Three good teams in your way, and IMO you face three top-5 teams in the last six weeks. Buying is definitely bold.

Yeah won't be easy - we'll see what the next couple of weeks bring. I'm looking to improve my team moving forward so not just looking at this season - looking at 2015 and 2016 as well. I like my core in place with Posey, Freeman, Arenado, Tulo, Brantley, Garcia, d'Arnaud, Minor, Miller, Ross (thank you :P), and Peralta, along with some other nice complimentary pieces I have.

I think the biggest obstacle that we didn't even mention is Tulo's injury. If he's shelved for longer than expected, it's going to be a tough hill to climb.

 

(Don't mind us jaysblue, we're like wild coyotes talking every fringe playoff team into launching a fire sale)

Yeah that definitely plays a huge role. Losing him for an extended period of time hurts greatly.

 

I have stud Danny Santana. He has a lot of heart :)

Brought up Ross a few pages ago. I'm pretty happy with how good he's been because I shopped him hard to several teams before trading him to you and I didn't want to look like a snake-oil salesman. Guy is legitimately good and has been since returning to the rotation in the second half last year.

I'll just go ahead and brag openly about how my FC team just re-captured 1st place (also a 20 team dynasty for those of you who live under rocks). And even more impressive, that team has a better record than my DDL team.

 

Oh by the way, I just acquired Scott Kazmir. Cheers!

Ugh, I'm really dreading my Dinger matchup next week. I'm in the middle of a battle for the MC, and taking time out to get curb-stomped is going to suck.

Yes, once again, I'm taking offers and then running them back to Hurl. I'm open for negotiation but anything and everything agreed upon must be ran by Hurl. Which most of you negotiating with me know by now.

 

And Nick, I dunno why Hurl hasn't responded to what we were talking about. I'll try again to get a response.

Lol I've been taking offers for him for a solid day, haven't gotten any inquiries before yesterday. So yeah, we're not gonna be totally on the same page just yet, but we've agreed on some things.
