Pretty sure we didn't give people new clocks when this happened in the past unless the next person picking decided to wait until the last minute as a curtesy. Pretty sure we just go on picking as quickly as we want and Hurl jumps in whenever he's available. This happened to Spanky in the very first draft.

At Hurl's request by email, his 12 hour window for pick 70 will be waived. He doesn't want to hold up the draft and he has no prepared list anyway. Draft will move on without him but he will be free to pick whenever.

I think I prefer McCutchen. In a shallow league with a limited number of starting spots, it really pays off to trade packages of good players for elite players. Plus Craig is a very replaceable bat in the format.

Yup. It helps me considering I had the pitching to deal from (Waino, Sanchez, Felix, Keuchel, etc), and was a bit weak on bats since I lost Harper.

 

My OF is now Gomez, Bautista, Braun, McCutchen, Harper lol. I'm gonna have to deal one of them for an IF though. But this helps offset the Fielder injury for Boxy and Marte replaces Cutch's spot while Scherzer bolsters the staff.

 

Especially when you consider team situations, it's a fair deal.
