Holy s***, KingKat sitting at 0.500 through 7 weeks. I had him at 19th overall before the season. Impressive so far.

And since those rankings he traded both Ellsbury and Gonzalez. That's incredible.

Boxy likes that guy. I tried moving the pick I moved for Bourn for him and was shot down ruthlessly and without remorse.

As he should! In a fantasy sense the dude is kind of 50's across the board, which of course = core piece for Boxy.

Slightly ticked my three CF carousel pieces have all been worse so far.

Has anyone else noticed how good Seth Smith has been? .445 wOBA through 38 games. That's incredible. I didn't even know until I saw him dominate me this week from Speedy's team.

Yeah mainly against RHP. I've always been a Seth Smith fan though I doubt he keeps up this pace. He's a very good platoon bat and can be useful in deep leagues like this one. He likely finishes with 15 HR's when all is said and done. I had him on my roster last season in this league - never panned out.

Ya, he's been amazing. I think he has the 3rd highest wRC+ in the league right now. Just check matchups before his game and sit him whenever he plays a lefty.

Jason Vargas is pretty bad. I know his ERA has been palatable in recent years, but his DIPS always seem to be well over 4. That's replacement level in our league - Vogelsong represents that right now as a free agent, and I grabbed George De La Rosa in desperation a week ago.

As far as Markakis goes, he's worth a little bit but a 10HR 0SB OF is extremely unsexy. Most contending teams probably have OF full of better options at this point.

Well he's got a very long swing, so there's that. The PitchFX numbers indicate that he has more trouble with fastballs than breaking balls, so it could just be that the book is out and he can't handle good velo in certain locations. He has hit almost 30 HR in a season though, so he owns that upside.
