He will probably eat into Avilan's holds opportunities when he comes back, but at least you monopolized the back end of that pen. Avilan/Carpenter/Walden will combine for a lot of holds. I owned 3 Braves RP last season and each got 20+.

Avilan will probably become more of a LOOGY if Venters comes back healthy, but I can live with that. Venters is a guy I really coveted in deep leagues when he was healthy and dominating.

I had Capps in my Top 5 or 6 remaining until you popped him. He's got a good K rate and he could fall into a closer role if the Marlins trade Cishek. I absolutely love that park for fantasy pitchers.

Oh hey, an update on one of my prospects from BP, let's have a look...

 

Phillies (Steffan Segui)

Maikel Franco: He looks fat and he starts his swing much too late. He gets a ton of separation (probably too much) and creates excellent bat speed, but it hinders his timing—though it is early spring, so this should be taken with the largest grain of salt. It's more a swing for a svelte hitter (which I assume he used to be) who doesn't have to swing around his belly. Actually somewhat nimble at third, he has excellent hands, but it's not clear that his ever-growing body can stay there long term. Theres no chance he's 180; he has to be over 200.

 

lol, that's one of the harshest spring reports I can remember reading.

 

Vogelbach, Franco...my farm system may need to be reclassified as a fat farm.
