Has anyone bought tickets in the 200 club section at a NHL game before? They're a bit more pricey than 100 center ice. Is this because of the superior view?

If I'm not mistaken, club section you have servers and a menu etc... like a bar/restaurant.I think it's the Hot Stove Lounge club section.

Are we still doing the Maple Leaves thing?

Always. I don't like making first grade spelling mistakes at my age.

“Why not the Maple Leaves”? Why was the name not pluralized with ‘ves’ as opposed to the ‘fs’ it currently has? Well, the answer again lies in the fact that the team name was adopted directly from the Maple Leaf regiment.

Let me explain with a very brief grammar lesson. Most know that words that end in ‘f’ are pluralized by dropping the ‘f’ and adding ‘ves’. But that is true of common nouns (most, but not all – ie. “roofs”). Proper nouns, simply put, are nouns that are specific names of people, places and things. And when these proper nouns end in ‘f’, they are pluralized by simply adding an ‘s’. So, Leaf (from the regiment) becomes Leafs.

He's trolling you bro. It's a forgazy.

Meh. I was actually curious myself as I'd never really looked into the name choice. I like a good troll job as much as the next guy, but I would've hoped he'd pick something where he could at least come across as being somewhat clever.

Leafs win in shootouts.

But almost as good, Kadri and Jumbo Joe get into a fight right at the beginning of the game and Kadri rips a big chunk of Joe's beard right off his face during the fight.

Damn good game. I liked this version of Team Canada, no waiting around wondering if any particular guy was going to get it done. Just a solid, competitive team top to bottom - even got the goaltending this year.

I had a prof once who told me to never read anything by anyone who uses more than one of italics/bold/underline at the same time. However, I'm guessing that you're going with that Maple Leaf regiment thing.

So does that mean that the "Maple Leafs" are composed of players who are each an entire army regiment? That makes no f***ing sense since each player is only one person. I also highly doubt many of them have any army training at all. Really, I'm doing the team a service by calling them Leaves because the alternative interpretation is f***ing dumb.

Auston Matthews is the most talented Maple Leaf on the Maple Leafs. I explained this to you in a PM back in my lurking days.

Also, the question at the beginning of your second paragraph is really dumb.
