I think both teams are happy about it. The real question is after Weber ages a bit more.

 

I also heard on the radio weber hit his own player with a slap shot in practise forget who but now he is out lol

Rough!

I tuned in when you posted this. That was a crazy shootout. The US constantly had an answer to Russia, and finally scored the back-breaker.

When will management teams catch on that size no longer matters like it used to? The game has changed so much that, if anything, it's a lot of the big, truculent guys that now have the disadvantage. It's so much faster and more highly-skilled than it used to be. I can understand that things used to be a different way since the beginning of NHL time, but smaller is the new big. For now I guess it will remain a market inefficiency.

Size still matters. Not nearly as much as it did, but I don't think you're gonna see an onslaught of kids 5'7" barging their way into the NHL.

GO CANADA GO... huge game, this is the Gold Medal Game, imo.

 

Here's hoping...but I said before the tournament even started that they need their goalies to step up and excel. I haven't seen that yet. Canada's goalies scare the s*** out of me...they have for a few years now in this tournament.

I won't lie I don't this team and really dislike Strome...but lets figure it out boys still got a few i like
