Is it me... my bias, or were those hits both shoulder on shoulder?

 

The second hit was clearly to the head. The first was fine. And man, this year is gonna suck to be a Canucks fan.

Yeah I think Kadri will be sitting at least 3 for that. Definitely a punk move by Burrows, spearing a guy is already gutless enough without adding in the theatrics.

It's not so much the area of contract as it is the blindside nature of the hit that's the issue.

I agree with that...but that isn't against the rules...if that is the case Rielly is in the same boat.

 

Dangerous hit...uncalled for? Sure but within the rules IMO

I disagree. Rielly's hit was much more straight on than Kadri's.

 

That said, I've seen a couple of different angles of Kadri's hit and some of them don't make the hit look as bad. I'm really curious to see if he gets any games for it.
