Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Nice watching the leafs play again. Even tho they might end up with a L at the end of the night it's pretty fun watching the kids buzz around the ice. Motherf***in Habs fans on my FB refuses to give in and admit the Leafs are headed in the right direction....f***em I guess. Lol.

Remind them how their October went last year and where they ended up at seasons ends. And when they remind you that Carey Price got hurt, remind them how they're a one player team.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Craig Anderson with a SO his first game back since finding out his wife had cancer. Remarkable moment.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Yeah, awesome, weird how athletes respond to adversity. Sports gods exist. Dee Gordon with the homer this year, Kobe and Jeter in their final games..

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Awesome game by Kadri... and Andersen, another weak goal, but he's played well his last 3 games.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Marner is a beauty! The pass by Bozie was nice too
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Great game by Marner and Andersen... f***, he stood on his head! Looking good.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Leafs had no business winning that game. They owe Andersen a steak dinner after that game.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Told you guys you would grow to like Freddie, he's a darn good goalie.
King Old-Timey Member Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Told you guys you would grow to like Freddie, he's a darn good goalie. Last 4 starts since the Tampa blow up 42/43 .977 44/46 .957 29/31 .935 29/31 .935 I think he was still effected by his pre-season injury at the start of the year.

Yep he seems to be settling in and very likely wasn't quite himself to start the year. The player the Ducks drafted with the pick from that trade (Sam Steel) is off to a blazing start at the top of the WHL scoring charts, so it appears both sides should be happy with early returns from the deal.

I thought so, too. I know goalies have bad stretches, but that start was ridiculous.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Leafs had no business winning that game. They owe Andersen a steak dinner after that game. They also lost a couple they had no business losing due to Andersen. He's trying to balance the scales.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 The Habs only gave up 14 goals through 10 games, tonight 7 in just over half a game to the Jackets... crazy?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Aaaand... I've never seen that before on Zetterberg's goal?
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 lmao Montreal getting f***ing nuked. 10-0 lol.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 lmao Montreal getting f***ing nuked. 10-0 lol. Whoah. I don't follow Hockey but that has to be close to the biggest blowout ever? no?
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 yikes, we were just talking about this in the coffee room at work, needing a 'wake up' game after some poor efforts that resulted in w's... I guess this qualifies lol
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Biggest ever was Detroit over the Rangers, 15-0 in 1944. Therrien is a jackass for leaving Montoya in for this whole game.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Burn game without Price, so might as well let it ride.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 These kids look great! I SAID GOOD DAY!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Domi knocked out Kesler Linesman needs to get the f*** out of the way, or that doesn't happen.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Is it me... my bias, or were those hits both shoulder on shoulder?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Hard to tell on Kadri's hit, but he's f***ed as a repeat offender.
