If I was a Leafs fan I would probably just cheer for the team to lose at this point. Then you can scapegoat the coach and get someone better and in the process get a good draft pick in a stacked draft class.

I wouldn't get excited as a Leafs fan after beating Buffalo who just came off a West Coast road trip. Buffalo is likely the worst team in the last 15 years.

Lots of what going on? I'd honestly rather be in Buffalo's situation than 10 other teams in the league. Team is going to be a top contender in 5 years. McDavid/Eichel are #1 Centers you can build around.

They played really well in the first two periods, but the third was just a mess. The refs were also terrible FWIW. Nonetheless, Leafs need to play better in the third. They usually just sit back and try to protect the lead and it almost always bites them in the ass. Nice to steal the two points though.

Up a goal to the Blackhawks I wouldn't say I expected much different. Toronto just isn't a very good team and Chicago is top 3 in the league.
