labadee Verified Member Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Was Scrivens as awful as the numbers imply, or was he hung out to dry? bit of both
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 As expected, the Leafs are getting dominated.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 As expected, the Leafs are getting dominated. This is so perfect. My fantasy hockey team is making it likelier that Nonis and Carlyle get the boot. Thank you Patty Hornqvist.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 Bernier doesn't have it tonight, pull him for tomorrow, just FUGLY! Give Optimus Reim a chance to shine.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Kunitz? Hornqvist. Great pick.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 Hornqvist. Great pick. I love beating you because every time I try and claim some breakout Greenwood stud, you own him. So this is my revenge. <3
labadee Verified Member Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Give Optimus Reim a chance to shine. Bernier after the first game said he felt a bit of pain against the habs. if that's the case now, he should put the team first and let reimer have a shot. put the team before yourself.
labadee Verified Member Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Cherry cracks me up, that rant was for the ages!! Turranah maple leafs!

havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Wayne Simmonds is a monster.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Dirty shot by Malkin. Yeah this game is over.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2014 Author Posted October 12, 2014 Dirty shot by Malkin. Yeah this game is over. ayyy
labadee Verified Member Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 wow their top line has 17 shots on goal thus far
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 f***in fans booing them now? They should've been booing after the first? The guy that threw his Jersey on the ice is a loser, they played a decent 40 minutes all things considered, they were flat in the first and were terrible then. Rangers tomorrow, Ruh-Roh...stand on your head Reimer. Amazing what score effects do...
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 The Leafs winning is bad enough. Them torching Lundqvist and likely costing me the week in fantasy is pretty much unbearable.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 The Leafs winning is bad enough. Them torching Lundqvist and likely costing me the week in fantasy is pretty much unbearable. Brutal. Just killed your GAA and Sv %.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Brutal. Just killed your GAA and Sv %. I'm now likely going to lose both to a guy rolling with Ondrej Pavelec and Karri Ramo. Is baseball back yet?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Ouch! That's a lot of empty seats (the first picture is from warmup, but the rest aren't). http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2230759-florida-panthers-nearly-empty-stadium-fuels-relocation-rumors?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial&hpt=hp_t2

What's worse is that the real number of people at the game was probably even smaller. Luckily, you could probably count the people in the stands fairly quickly to get a more accurate number.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Ban Yeah, yeah. Didn't link it for the article.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 The Panthers crowds are only going to look worse as the season rolls on. They eliminated the comping of tickets so now there won't be any freebies inflating the attendance numbers. I wouldn't be surprised to see them average less than 10 000 for the season. I mean they got 11 000 for the home opener...
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 The Panthers have an exciting up and coming young team, move them somewhere where people appreciate hockey! If the team was in Detroit the last 10 years you probably would see crowds in the 12 000 range there and I wouldn't say Detroit is a bad hockey market. That much losing would have small crowds in 75% of the cities in the NHL. In 2003-2004 the Blackhawks and Penguins averaged 13,253 and 11,877 respectively. Those 2 cities would be considered 2 of the stronger hockey markets in the NHL south of the boarder. That being said I think the Panthers should be moved to Toronto, Quebec City, Seattle or Kansas City.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Lundqvist having another rough night
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Phil the thrill! Solid game all around for the leafs
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 The Leafs outshot the opposition 40-24 lol.
