Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Doc is done. He had a good run, but it always comes to an end. The trade looking better for us now, as he wouldn't have been able to help our Juggernaut out, lol.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 We'll miss you, Doc. On first glimpse I'd think I'd want Doc as a pitching coach but he was usually pretty distanced, which is fairly standard for a robot, but I don't think I'd want him over Pete Walker as PC.

Don't know about that. He seemed to have no personality. Players might not take to him.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Halladay's out...but I'm going on record here. Hech is going to get the cycle.
BabbaGanoush Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 God damn it. I just realized that Rogers had a free preview of extra innings but it ended today

He seemed to have no personality. Players might not take to him. Yeah, agreed, he's not exactly the warm clubhouse vetrin presents kinda guy.

digiblader Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Check out this lineup for the Rays today--what we're likely going to see with Zobrist on bereavement when we play them: Jennings CF, Joyce RF, Longoria 3B, Loney 1B, Johnson K LF, Roberts 2B, Lobaton C, S-Rod SS Why is Loney hitting cleanup? And why isn't Wil Myers up here yet?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 How do you IL people? You go into edit profile. On the side bar, under My Account, it's there, just put in digiblader lol. It looks really ugly though.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Ugh, the new IL looks terrible. an entire post to tell you that you ignored that post? lol seems a little over the top.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 an entire post to tell you that you ignored that post? lol seems a little over the top. Indeed. I really wish it was just invisible.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 Darvish on a K'ing spree, 5 K's thru 9 Lol just a hunch but I think you mean 9 k's through 5
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Lol just a hunch but I think you mean 9 k's through 5 I deserved to be the first poster banned for that
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 It is him, he had blader in his name for like a day in the old forum. Blader? I always skimmed and thought it was bladder. huh, who knew?
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Blader? I always skimmed and thought it was bladder. huh, who knew? He doesn't even bother to deny it. What a clown.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Ozuna on fire. 4 for 5 with a pair of doubles, a walk and 3 rbi today. Someone needs to tell him AA ball guys who were rushed shouldn't be allowed to do that.
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Darvish with 14Ks in 7 innings wow, and he threw 127 pitches
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 So the Rockies broadcast team are two of the biggest homers I've ever heard. +1 I watch the Rockies fairly often and I honestly think they are worse than ours. The constant use of first names and nicknames for the Rockies players gets irritating very quickly, and they make Pat Tabler look like an orator with how little they have to say.
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Astros getting pounded by the Tigers 8-0 after a 17-2 loss yesterday. Phil Humber shelled yet again, 4 IP, 8 ER
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Looks like Halladay heading to the DL. In other news, is it too early to start a Verlander no-no watch?
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Looks like Halladay heading to the DL. In other news, is it too early to start a Verlander no-no watch? I was going to mention it after the 7th inning. I figure no-hitting the Astros for 6 isn't much of an accomplishment.
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 And there, Carlos Pena gets a hit with one out in the 7th.
