Sure, but the convenience of the BJMB PM is too good to pass up. And this 60-second limit is quite the minor inconvenience. It sort of resembles this.

I just changed the stylesheets so hopefully that clears up too.

Also the forum uses gzip compression, from what I've read.

 

Firebug suggests that it is using browser caching, but that it isn't using gzip compression. I haven't dug deeper to check though, just noticed and thought I'd mention it.

I would make it 15 seconds between PMs and 5-10 between posts if possible. You need to keep bots out but it's way too long atm.

Not exactly. It loads fine in Chrome but it doesn't keep track of read threads very well on my Windows 8 computer. Everything is fine and dandy with Chrome on my Windows 7 computer.

I had it turned on on the forum side but I read if your server has it running to turn the forum one off. So I'm not sure. I don't know if it's just my mind playing tricks, but since I disabled all our addons, the forum seems to be running even faster. One of the addons was causing the error, now I have to find out which it is.

For the record I'm not running a Windows 8 version of the browser because those are annoying. I'm just running regular Chrome on the desktop. I can't be bothered with all that Alpha ********.

Admin, is there an option for you to enable Windows Phone 8.1 live tile support? I want to pin this site to my start screen and have it show me thread updates and s*** right on the live tile, like some other websites do.

So just to add a little more clarity on what I was asking about...

 

It's actually a IE11 feature for Windows 8.1 (desktop and phone). Pin live tile to start.

 

Does that help/change anything?
