    It's why if Jays have a chance get a #1 pitcher at the trade deadline, and the price is Yesevage + few prospects, Atkins shouldn't hesitate. I remember Cleveland had a top pitching prospect that was great during WS (Jaret Wright} but after he wasn't so good. They refused to trade him for Pedro Martinez, because they saw him better they was.

    I wonder if Atkins plan trade Kirk at the trade deadline🤔 With Brick and Sprock they added top catcher prospects, and the way Valenzuela play, can make Kirk available.

    Hitting coach isn't only about the swing but also need working on mental. So Vlad can practice and change the way he's batting, but if he don't have the right mindset and confidance , this won't work. Probably Mattingly was the guys who can help with the mental aspects, and Popkin more about swing

    Stephen had good trade values last year, the problem is that Atkins traded him for Bieber. Instead he can have get a very good bullpen arm.

    Coaching staff need be replaced, no just JS, coz it's no normal Jays have so many pitchers with injuries, and players out of shape like Vlad, Kirk

    Bieber, Garcia, Springer are finished players, so they will bring nothing good. Jays will probably need to pay to get rid of them, they have the values of a DFA

    The young guys are already here, other than Yesevage, Valenzuela, Keys, Pinango, Macko, I don't see who they can call up. King, Parker, Sanchez, Nimmala are no ready for MLB. What Atkins can do, is to trade players like Gausman, Rogers, Hoffman, Varsho, Lukes, they will bring good return, and with the CBA lockout in 2027, guys like Gausman, Rogers should be traded before, coz they will be less good in 2028, and their trade values will decrease a lot. I like Rogers, but he's already 36, so at 38 no sure he will be as good than this year. Varsho, Gausman will be a mistake to sign them long term. Lukes reached his max values, so depending of the return, Atkins should listen. Ofc I will be happy if Vlad, Gimenez can be traded, but this seem to be a utopic dream😅Clement, Varland, Yesevage need to be signed long term.

    Clement need to stay, idem with Okamoto, Lukes, Kirk, Pinango, Valenzuela, Keys, Clement, Okamoto, Lukes, Kirk, Valenzuela, Keys, Pinango, Yesevage, Varland, Cease, Rogers, should stay. All the other can be traded. I would like a swap Guerrero for Tatis Jr, this will open a spot at 1B for Keys.

    More like Tatis Jr. Few years ago, Tatis was also a 40+ HR hitter, but suddenly like Vlad, power is gone. Maybe they was on "vitamine" but stopped before being caught😉

    This depend for who they can trade them. If this is for a young player like Henderson or a top SP like Skubal, fans will agree, but if this is for a older guy like Alvarez, even if he's great, this will be a mistake. Nimmala and Stanifer at max, can bring a reliever, but no a good hitter like Alvarez.

    He need to improve defensively to play 1B, so will likely be used DH and pinch hitter at first.

    Our manager still John Schneider, no Dave Roberts or Stephen Vogt, so this is why we saw Varland😄

    Hopefully, Keys can bring power and replace Springer,DH so will only need get someone like Yordan Alvarez to play LF or Gunnar Henderson SS. Why Baltimore can part away with Henderson? First they have another bad season this year, also in 2028 he will be UFA, and next year he will receive a big salary increase, so they will want prospects like King and Parker to rebuild.

    Need more than just bullpen help. Another SP that can be our # 2 in the rotation between Cease and Gausman, 2 more bats , one to send Springer on the bench, the other to replace Vlad in batting order

    For this, we only need to add a top 2 SP, another top reliever to replace Hoffman, a good DH, a star outfielder.
