    Yep, I said in past that Valenzuela should be the #1 catcher and we should consider trade Kirk for very good prospects. Obviously Valenzuela no a #1 catcher, but he's still an upgrade on Heinneman as backup for Kirk. The problem of Jays offense is no Valenzuela, but all the pinch hitters Atkins bring to be in the starting lineup. Sanches, Straw, Lukes, Springer are no good enough to be in starting lineup. Can say the same about Gimenez, but if we remove him in SS, the defense will be awful, and it's no so easy find a SS who can be good offensively and defensively. But to replace Jesus, Straw and Springer with better players shouldn't be difficult.

    Bieber everyone excepted the duo Atkins/Shapiro know Bieber was cooked and still injured. Yesevage like all young pitchers top prospect in the Jays organisation, end up on the injuries list, so nothing we shouldn't have expected. I bet the next will be King, Perry and Carlon. Berrios with his bad attitude during the WS, almost all Jays fans wanted him to be traded before the beginning of the 2026 season. So the culprit is Atkins no have signed or acquiring a top 3 SP. Instead waiting forever for Tucker, he can have get a good SP and a good bullpen arms, even if signed Cease and Rogers.

    Absolutely, just replace Sanchez, Gimenez, Vlad, Keys, with Bobby Witt Jr, Aaron Judge, Shoei Ohtani and Bryce Harper

    I don't miss Varsho, but doesn't mean I want Arriguetti with the Jays next year. He need to be send in Buffalo.

    No sure the Leaft are better than last year. They didn't replaced marner 100pts on the wing , Popovsky will disappoint and Leaf like the Oilers will need looking for a #1 goalie again. Also McKenna no ready to have an impact on the team yet, he's no Celebrini or Bedard, so he will need spend more time in Pennsylvania State till he be ready for NHL.

    Sanchez should only be used as pinch hitter, otherwise he's useless.

    Will be cool to win a wild card spot, but will be less when lose in the first round, and have Yesevage come back too early and miss plenty of games next year coz of injuries.

    Hope they won't offer him a qualifying offer before free agency. We need get rid of him

    Varsho vs Bateman, defensively they are both good. But offensively, Bateman is an upgrade to Varsho. Yes Bateman don't have power, but with his speed, number of single and all the BB he get, it's what Jays need for a leadoff hitter.

    In school and minor leagues, he always had a good AVG, in MLB he can be a .275-.300+ AVG

    He doesn't really need more power, he need to continue hit the ball like he do so far, but he need to use his speed a lot more often, so many single and BB, will become double.

    This look like 3 loss, unless Scherzer still have the eyes of tiger. But Spag and Tail are cooked, they barely can reach the 4 inning.

    Bieber was already injured and without his player option, they won't have bring him back. Francis and Bloss? Many fans forgot their existence, and those who didn't, know they arent good enough to be part of the team who almost win the WS. Berrios everyone wanted him out before the beginning of the season. Taillon is one of the garbage pitcher Atkins bring, so he won't have helped the team much, except give less inning to Straw. Pounce was a bet, so no one know what he can do in the MLB. The real annoyance was Yesevage injuries, because he was top 3 in the SP rotation, and we have great expectations about him.

    All the garbages he bring to replace these guys. Most of these pitchers was injured at the beginning of the spring training, so Atkins had enough time to fix things before all star games.

    Yes Murakami is a better hitter than Okamoto, but Okamoto can play 3B/1B , no just DH, and with Springer in the lineup, Vlad at 1B and Santander on the payroll, Jays didn't had open DH spot at the beginning of the season. It's why they choose to sign Okamoto, instead of Murakami

    It's time to fire Atkins and Shapiro, and bring new front office with different mindset

    It's no really the fault of JS if Atkins give him a bunch of shity garbages pitchers that are far away to be MLB caliber. And I didn't mention the awful offensive players Atkins bring to help the team finish amongst the worst MLB teams offensively.

    Better draft early, than reach the playoff, and be easilly eliminate, with 0 chances have a matchup with the Dodgers again in WS

    In my opinion Little is more a baseball pitching machine than a usefull reliever. Even if he was able throw with his right and left hand or his left toe, he will still be useless.
