    It's bull s*** that the cubs get to have teams come to their park and play friday day games which we aren't as accustomed to in that rat infested ivy abomination. Would not be surprised if some of the guys get hantavirus. What's the point of being a multimillionaire athlete if you are spending that much of your time in worse conditions than homeless people?

    With the Oakland team losing tonight we are back to tied for wild card. It’s only the 4th but it’s 5-0 and if this was a sports bet you could cash out at this point. So it’s as good as settled.

    Being a ..500ish team with a 2 game wild card lead feels like it would be better than actually winning the World Series last year

    You don’t just make the playoffs with 1 game. It takes 6 months and you gotta get those 81-82 wins. At that point we are a coin flip to make it back to the World Series.

    just hope some of these guys pull a wander Franco and then you don't have to eat any money and don't have to pay a cent. The rays office was probably pissing their pants with joy when that stuff went down. Sure Wander was doing well as a player, but I'm sure the Rays still regretted handing out that contract the second after they signed it.

    Yankees and orioles. Going back every year I think I hated both the 2016 Yankees and orioles pretty equally. Back then I hated the orioles more. I would give 25,000$ if it would ensure the Yankees or orioles both never win a World Series in my lifetime. Another 15,000 if we can add dodgers to that list.
