  1. No. But, I would expect any blue jay player to walk away from the game for good rather than play for the dodgers. Lauer is s***** person. A s***** s***** little man.
  2. One back of a w card. Playoffs wont be that hard to get into. Still playing meaningful baseball in May which is all the matters
  3. Not an expert in lineup construction but I don’t know if Bichette in the 2 hole really hurts Soto other than hitting with runners on less. And if Bo isn’t getting on base they can pitch around Soto too with less problems Either way keeping him there is hurting their team. Curious to see if he turns it around or if they end up moving him down, should fit in nicely at 8/9 with his backup catcher numbers
  4. These Japanese guys come into our country and disrespect our team and make illegal sports bets (Ohtani) and steal our women (Roki date Sydney Sweeney). I'm sure Yamamoto has done some very bad things which will likely be making the news at some point. Then they fall off skills wise and will likely be forgotten in a couple years. Guys like Ichiro and Kikuchi had some respect but the new generation (Ohtani and sasaki) is something else, no honour. Okamoto is new here and hasn't had any problems yet so I giving him a pass, for now. In unrelated news, we also have Bichette, one of the worst hitters in the league hitting in the 2 spot on one of the biggest markets in the league. I"m sure Soto is thrilled hitting behind him. Have fun with a bunch of 60 rbi seasons for the foreseeable future.
  5. NL team this year will be the Padres. Nice to see the dodgers lineup not look like a complete powerhouse 1/4 of the way in, just a bunch of aging superstars and an Ohtani who probably won't win the MVP. Yea he's doing pretty good still but in 2 years time Japan will have turned on him if he isn't the best player in the league. There's no room for 2nd best in that culture. I'm thinking all the Ohtani banners and billboards get pulled. Give someone else a chance this year.
  6. Bichette with one of his best games of the year. A hit, RBI, a walk, just saw him do a 9 pitch at bat all while bumping his average a point to .223 and adding 2 OPS points to .561
  7. On the bright side, just by WAR, if we didn't sign Oke and still had Bo, we are sitting firmly in last place in the division.
  8. I saw a big red "game page" banner on the main site and assumed I was banned, like how reddit does it.
  9. This isn't Bo we are talking about, he wants to play. He will play. Soon. Maybe.
  10. He might not be finished. No reason for me to be defrocked over this. The Tampa bay rays gave a 50 year old Dennis quaid a million on the off chance he could play. Someone needs to stand up to the MLB and play him
  11. He wants to play for league min though
  12. Not trying to be defrocked here but we need Trevor Bauer
  13. Nice. So we are getting tucker And Bo
  14. You ever see those Facebook shorts with that kid, maybe 3, who hits pretty well? Last one I saw he taught the kid to swing later to hit it up the middle or oppo. We need to sign that kid.
  15. They didn’t want him, they paid the $1m. Sure they could have taken the option and traded him, but it’s possible there is no takers at that contract value and the rays risk losing money. Maybe the rays decided to do a nice thing and let him pick his team as well, after giving them 7 good years there.
  16. Kevin K posting on his Twitter asking teams to hire him as an “outfield coach/consultant”. Cant post Twitter links sorry
  17. There is an interview with cash man somewhere on Yankees Reddit and probly YouTube from last week. He goes on about how Boone wants fans to think the analytics team is making all the decisions behind the scenes. Then he went on to basically say no, all the bad decisions are directly on Boone. I know we all know that the Yankees manager position is always going to be there to take 90% of the media flack. But it’s funny to see the GM confirm that. Cashman obviously is a terrible public speaker so no wonder he doesn’t want the attention.
  18. Then on the other hand you have A Judges parents who took an unwanted baby who turned out to be on of the best players of all time. Wonder if the birth parents know that.
